What's that word i'm looking for to describe our performance so far..oh yes there it is : Awful.

We need to bloody calm down a bit..keep the ball for awhile and get a good string of passes together. Too many needless backpasses and our midfielders are taking ages to release the ball.

We can do better..much much better.

I wonder what was lampard doing on the pitch for the whole game.not impressed with the performance and lukaku could've helped us to snatch all 3 points imo.

Best moments of the game had to be seeing those united players screaming for a penalty every 3 seconds. Cut up the whole MOTM award and divide it between them.certainly deserve it,as they provided the most entertainment for me laugh.gif

Lampard doing his routine job..stabilizing the midfielder..because..Ramires cant do it..Oscar cant do it..and there is no Mikel..

Its a good experiment from Mou..playing a false 9..

It was our passing the degrade badly for this game..Ramires look too nervous..

KDB losing his plot after the mouth injury..

snatching a points from OT is a decent result..

Mou is a manager that look forward..maybe he looking at Super Cup..and i strongly believe that Lukaku will lead the line..that game is a one time game..while league..its a long run..

Mou still looking for his best 11..
*
Lamps basically did a 'mikel' job for us,but i'm just concerned at him starting and finishing 3 games in a row.Surely there was a chance for him to sit out one of these matches, because at this rate there will be signs of fatigue very, very soon.

Loved the inclusion of schurrle upfront, but service to him was non-existant.therefore lukaku should've lead the line to provide some solid hold-up play and if he doesn't get at least one half vs bayern,i'd say he should be worried

It seems rami's darting runs have been curtailed. Maybe that explains those awkward forward passes.he's most comfortable sprinting with the ball at his feet and if we don't encourage that side of his game, its no different from starting mikel in his position.

Jose's still experimenting i guess. Looking at the bigger picture, this is 2 points dropped for utd and a point gained by us.

P.s: I trust brendan rodgers and studge to do us a big favour soon icon_idea.gif

Well..can't say that wasn't expected..we were awful right after the first goal.bayern deserved it,we don't.simple as that.feeling really sorry for lukaku now,and i think the decision to bring him on was a bad one.not impressed with our performance at all.

QUOTE(dynames07 @ Sep 3 2013, 07:47 AM)
and there we go again.. at chelsea, reputation (and past history) wins you the starting eleven. i really hope this will not back fire us in the long run. lukaku might be thinking what is wrong with chelsea's logic.. he scored more that torres and ba did last season and was loaned out again.

you can't win the league with a below par strikers. pray hard eto'o can score a lot of goal for us to achieve that.
*
Sigh.it was almost the perfect transfer window for us. Don't want to sound too negative, but bringing in eto'o and shoving lukaku out the door was basically taking 3 steps backwards as a club imo. All that talk about being in the manager's plans and rejecting west brom's earlier enquiries outright, only to culminate in a last minute loan to everton?whether its a board or managerial level decision, its still an extremely poor one.

Bear in mind lukaku never wanted to leave and the possibility of rooney coming on board didn't even faze him. He was prepared for the competition.i'm gutted with how we've handled the young lad and u have to wonder what's going through his mind now.

Next match up against martinez's everton. one thing that always got wigan into relegation trouble every other season was their 'overwhelming' attacking instincts laugh.gif

i think this will be a fantastic match. sitting back just isn't in their new gaffer's dna. we can punish them severely if we take our chances, like we did against wigan last season. quite relieved fellaini isn't there anymore but their new dangerman has to be ross barkley. i expect the big clubs to come in for him by the end of the season. plays a bit like lampsy actually.

cant wait for Willian and hopefully Eto'o debut..

eh..forgot about their other good players! hehe. Especially mirallas, that dude can really run. yep willian definitely has something to prove, chelsea being his first 'big team' so to speak, with all due respect to shakhtar and anzhi. icon_rolleyes.gif

Hmm eagerly awaiting our line-up!wonder if jose has decided that the rami and lamps combo for our pivot just doesn't work.everton will press us like hell, but i'm sure there'll be space left behind their defenders icon_idea.gif

Well.looks like this will be the 3rd time we wait for that much hyped about 'bounce back ', and its hard to imagine us losing another game.make no mistake,i think this might be a nervy game for us and i pray i'm wrong about this.

For the record i don't agree with how mata is continously being overlooked.he was player of the season twice in a row for a reason.okay fine hazard ane oscar are decent when it comes to tackling and tracking back. Mata sucks at it,but his creativity is better than the former two put together, and i believe that's more than an acceptable trade-off.

Some players are just meant to be set free, and given limited defensive responsibilities.mata is one of them because he just brings so much more to the team when he's in it.

Could've ended it as a contest even before the red.disappointed but loved how mazacar nullified the spurs midfield completely.

Schurrle should've put us ahead.pathetic officiating imo.killed the game and it was mostly about holding on with a man down towards the end.

Torres had his best game of the season and gets sent off, undeservedly.wonder how long its going to take for him to regain his confidence.if we had any sense,we should file an appeal.

Encouraging performance but still much, much work to do.

Interestingly,i thought oscar was quite poor.second only to lampard, who didn't really do anything for the whole 90 mins.torres pretty much unplayable in the second half, when was the last time we said that aye?memories of the swansea game when he got a goal and an assist before being given his marching orders for an unneccessary lunge. Hope jose keeps him focused and motivated.

Meanwhile, eto'o better be ready to step up.
