QUOTE(dynames07 @ Sep 21 2013, 10:37 AM) the man himself have spoken, oscar is the new number 10 and mata need to adapt to new life on the wing.. i don't think mata have the speed to play on the wing. willian, kdb, and schurrle are better option to play wide. expect less mata action this season. and hopefully he's ok with that.i take quite a time to figure out why oscar is the new #10 and i think i agree on what JM is trying to do now. if mata stay as #10, oscar will be a bigger sacrifice. he was never a wide player. if you compare oscar with mata, the latter have more qualities playing at wide position. i'll trust jose's judgement as of now. and i hope players can translate it well on the pitch. |

clearly we missing mata's creativity and delivery during set piece. schurlle-oscar-hazard didn't link up very well. don't know what on mou's mind. and starting eto'o up front.

QUOTE(Ichighost @ Sep 22 2013, 07:03 AM) jose already clarified about this..he dont mind luiz play the ball or march forward..but he need to defend when we losing the ball..because he is a defender.. mata lacking in speed. he'll never be a robben. i see mata as a link between the mazacar combo. the one who create oppurtunity to both oscar and hazard. and also for striker. u can see the number of assist he made for the last two seasons.jose want mata to play RW..Robben style..but he still cant do that..and always drift to the middle.. if they follow jose game plan..they will be alright..now either both of them adapting or ignoring jose's gameplan...time will tell about this.. and about luiz..he only suitable to play adventurous if mikel also play at the middle..because mikel always drop as defender if luiz march forward.. + we miss mata during set piece. our set piece like super poor. QUOTE(eeki @ Sep 22 2013, 08:33 PM) Jose plan for mata in term of attacking/ assist, mata is second to none. i don't think mata will be a good winger. a winger need speed, and that's what mata lacking. attacking player shud not be judge on number of tackle they made. same goes to defender, they can't be judge on the number of goals/ assist they made.SOS Clearly Jose has a plan for mata and oscar to play together, he just need mata to be more agressive, pressing opponent, track back when losing a ball. Could be 4-1-4-1 when it happen. ..... to think about it, I hardly recalled Mata do any tackle/hard challenge. |

man utd will always be up there. whether it 2 horse race or, 3 corner fight. they always manage to wrestle till the end.
as for arsenal, i am a bit sceptic toward their chances. man city kinda started to kick off their season now. new players started to gel with the team. spurs is another team to watch. departure of bale bring more balance to the team. their attacking talents are on par with us if not better. us, on the other side. need to step up our game especially in attack. next week match against spurs could be crucial. |

QUOTE(guitarleo @ Sep 23 2013, 04:27 PM) there was a chart said that if excluded those goals from striker, CHELSEA is in the top of the table. our striker haven't score in bpl. so our striker totally no in form. Jose said Eto lose his hunger after 3 years in minor league, sure, he was top earning and playing in lower league. Ba lose his scoring touch as well. Torres, we fans gave him the infinity support, not bad, but not up to par. |

no ramires to counter paulinho and capoue in mid. fuhhh... it's going to be a long night if we field mikel - lampard combo. hopefully JM drop oscar to lampard position. which is highly unlikely. pairing in oscar and luiz in mid could be good for this game. i'm goiing for this line up for tonight:
cech iva cahill terry cole oscar luiz schurlle/kdb mata hazard torres a big no for another eto'o start. |

look like JM deploy 4-3-2-1 formation. need to control the midfield. ramires will be crucial for this match. expect many of his lung bursting run into spurs penalty box.

QUOTE(Zeuss1220 @ Sep 28 2013, 07:16 PM) Kind of a "safe" lineup dont you think. I was going to comment that the lineup was unlikely until i saw it was confirmed. No willlian, KDB. mikel-lampard is a gamble. but, with ramires in the mix, i think they're going to be ok. i dont think ramires will be play on wide right. lampard-mikel-ramires combo is more likely.I also didn't expect JM to play Luiz and Terry ahead of Cahill. The infamous Lamps-Mikel combo is back, see what can JM do with them differently. Overall, this team selection isn't my cup of tea, but hope they can change my mind with a solid performance. |

JM need to play mata. release the mazacar for god sake. lampard doing nothing. ashley cole is poor. oscar can't run. ramires on the right is a joke. sub lampard for mata. no creativity at all.
