L300 does not. AFAIK, none in the L series do, except the L800 photo.
Do you have the printer yet? I tried printing a few photos on the L300. Quality is pretty bad. The dithering dots are very clearly visible. Not surprising as it's only 3 colours, and the dots are 4 picolitres. It's a good document printer though. I then got a Canon iP3680. 1 picolitre. Output is much better. But now I have a different problem. This printer seems to be quite finicky with the paper it gets. Works great on Canon glossy and matte paper. But with other papers, there are sometimes sprocket holes visible on the paper surface (glossy). Or the last inch does not feed properly, the paper slips and I see a line in the picture (matte). Or I get head-strike, if the paper is not completely 100% flat (both gloss and matte). I'm now thinking about the iP7270 or L800. Anyone here knows of a good printer to print photos on? |
