QUOTE(silencio87 @ Apr 26 2007, 06:55 PM) helo Wow.... are you really gonna get a cat for Rm1350? Coz you see.... most of the petshops are not selling pure persians.... many are in fact a mixture.... Why not you survey a bit at kitten.com.my/forum Say..urm im gonna buy a kitten ,maybe a persian but there're so many shops selling kittens and i dont know where to buy..all the shop i went sell cute ,adorable kittens and i just dont know where and which shop to go.The cheapest kitten (from those shop i surveyed) cost around rm 1350.Is the price ok?? I was thinking a male with creamy colour body +grey, brownish tail hehehe... also right..i heard there are cats with two coloured eyes...this sort of cats are rare and where can i get them??? thanks Sometimes can find some good quality cats there. If you are willing to spend about RM1k plus, then there are some members there selling pure Maine Coon cats with certs.... the 2 coloured eyed cats are called bi-coloured eyes.... you cannot breed those out, is by nature.... anyway, go survey abit at kitten.com.my or check adpost.com for more. Avoid petshops... later get mange and fleas... |

Use the soap you wash plates with. Get the lemon or lime kind... but make sure don't make the soap enter the eyes and really really wash till no soap on the body. You will need to use your nails to really scrub your cat. The soap will strip away natural oils so what you do is bath with the dish soap first, then after everything is clean and you can't feel any oily stuff on the cat, you apply a thin layer of hair conditioner..... Also, once your cat is dry, rub and brush your cat's fur to stimulate the natural oils in her skin to protect the fur.

QUOTE(Fyonne @ Jun 30 2007, 11:04 AM) hey, 1 question bout cat. Well, i had this stray cat, which was pregnant which often come to my place for food. we feed it, n even prepare a place outside my house for it to give birth. n yesterday, it give birth outside (since the door is lock durin the night when the cat is outside) but when we open the door, the cat bring it's kitten to our store room (which located under the stair) n place its 5 lil kittens there. So, do i let the cat choose the place? since we are fine with where it locate it coz it doesnt interfere with our daily life, just that i worry me a lil, since that place seem pretty dusty. The female cat has taken a liking to you, trusting you too. So let it have the room as it's hiding space. Cats normally like to hide away from people and other cats.... this is the reason why some cats give birth in the roof too. Feels safe to them. If it doesn't bother you, just let her be. You can feed her with more high protein stuff..... the kittens will be ready for new homes once they reach 2 months old but they will open their eyes in 2 weeks after birth and will start to crawl... later on they will be jumping about at 1 month and at 2 months old, they will be fully independent from their mom.n how long does it take for the new born to grew into 'safe' state. so far the newborn still cant open its eye. kinda newbie in this type matter. |

Pure persians come with certs and are from direct breeders... normally costing RM1k sometimes.... those RM300 to RM600 are not pure persians... they are just a mix breed that petshops or some people call persians because their fur is long..... Domestic Long Haired is more likely. 1 of the parent may be a pure and the other a mixbreed or both parents also mixbreeds but with long hair... the price varies according to colour, features and quality.

Bring the cat to a vet. She may need deworming and a vaccination. Anyway, it is possible for animals to get fever so better you bring here to a vet to test her temperature.
