Smallest size confirmed to be 900sf and starting from slightly more than RM550k translating to more than RM600psf. Bigger units starting price around RM590psf, I think. For that area, is it still worth investing? No details on the furnishing. Should I or should I not.......? Bullets limited!

My boss told me that only block B is available. Block A 100% booked already by staff and associates. In fact some of block B have also been booked. Block C will not be launched until at least 3-4 months time until AP is obtained for block A & B and all SnP are signed. Yes, my boss booked 2 units in Block A as he is considered super VVIP. Apparently price not fixed yet. Booking fee of RM10k pay to stakeholder. So if number issued has exceeded 500, tomorrow there will be a lot of disappointed as only less than 250 units are available in block B. good luck. I should b able to get a unit tomorrow as the number I got is single digit thru the help of my boss. I will go for type D facing pool low floor. I want cheapest as it is for investment purpose.

QUOTE(xsaintx @ Sep 21 2013, 11:42 PM) Bro there's no type D facing pool, only 2 units per floor and they're facing west ie lake view or low cost apartment view Got lah friend. It is facing Block A but in between is the swimming pool and wading pool. Distance from block A is about 60m. Yes only to type D per floor, 1 facing north and one facing south. I am talking about block B not Block A. I spent like 2 hours yesterday in EcoWorld office studying the layout.

I got my choice unit, low floor type d2 facing tennis court, putting green. According to SA who quietly told me (as he knows my boss very well) that this side is better as I will have a diagonal lake view. The other d2 unit is facing swimming and wading pool which is not so good as you will see low cost flat diagonally. Price around RM610k b4 discount.

Oct 24 will be a date to watch for all property investors including Ecosky. Prediction from most analysts is that very tough measures to curb speculation will be implemented. Ecosky purchasers will only be required to sign SnP after AP is obtained which is very likely to be year end according to SA. So if measures are really tough, do you think people will cancel their bookings? In fact Ecoworld like all developers are watching the development very closely. They can actually open for booking only after 24/10 but they chose to do it before. I think they also do not want to see their maiden projects received lukewarm response if open for booking after 24/10 especially if new measures are really hard hitting. All the best guys! Desa Parkcity is getting all purchasers of their new One Central Park to sign SnP next week.

QUOTE(kochin @ Sep 25 2013, 09:37 PM) Boss, if they were concerned, why are they so generous to offer zero penalty to cancel bookings? Given if it were others, there would be at least perhaps minimum admin fees. To me they are being very transparent and fair. And i think they are also extremely confident. Any others would have locked you in before budget. But since they are intenationally letting purchasers decide after budget really shows their strengh. Maybe it will backfire. Maybe it wont. Guess we just need to wait and see. Again time will tell. Cheers. They also want to lock us in but unfortunately they hv not obtained their AP yet. If they impose say RM500 admin fees for cancellation, how much can they make if people cancel? Anyway, I am happy as it gives me an option without cost. I am really concerned about the new measures and government is under pressure to be seen as doing something effective to curb speculation and to increase government revenue. One Central Park is not taking chance. I hv to pay 10% deposit next week after signing of SnP.

QUOTE(ManutdGiggs @ Sep 25 2013, 10:14 PM) Onli type c is opened for booking and without deposit yet. Assumed chip done choosing, feast buyers oso not done so. Unless they ask them to sign on the spot. Otherwise I dun c any possibility to sign spa next wk. Abe tq for the detail. Type C? mine is Type B2. I signed booking form last week and SA said lawyer will start calling next week to sign SnP. I think we should stop discussing One Central Park in this thread. If u r also buying, All the best!

QUOTE(ManutdGiggs @ Sep 25 2013, 11:34 PM) Bigmum gor says next wk sign spa for one central park. So it's 1 wk to go. Hopefully it's true. Then it's like ecosky sold blk A b4 launching blk B. I said very clearly that SA told me that lawyer will call me next week to sign SnP. Whether the lawyer calls or not, it is out of my control. All I am sure now is I hv booked an unit Type B2. So To answer Chris' question, you don't hv to wait 1 week. If you are a VVIP or repeat buyers, you will get call from SA to choose your choice units. Btw, many units have been booked. So yes, booking has started. All the best!

QUOTE(jore @ Oct 28 2013, 12:07 PM) Just checked with Ecoworld, the DIBS for EcoSky remains status quo, as expected. Pls tell me who did u talk to in Ecoworld? Status quo as expected? Though I pray that it is true but I don't think the banks dare to go against Bank Negara. If I am not wrong, developers need not get any approval for DIBS from anyone. It is an arrangement they have with the banks who want to work with them. So instruction has now been issued, you think banks will still do it and risking to be reprimanded? BNM will be watching them like a hawk. Existing projects which have been launched, maybe as the banks can say that they have already issued LObut in the case of Ecosky, developer has not even obtained permit to sell. If they have not started selling, where do the buyers come from, technically speaking? If no buyers, where got loan application? Ecoworld has never officially committed to giving DIBS. Even the price is just indicative because no approval is obtained yet. I really doubt they can give DIBS when we sign S&P end of the year. I sincerely hope that there is miracle. I believe they will give discount in lieu of DIBS. All the best!
