yes i am. My Desire hit 10 mths and i root to get latest. One thing about HTC is update come very slow and they abandon their product quite fast.

as the article said, the G model number probably denote this as Google Play Edition. 4.3 is around the corner but don't hold your breathe for 4.3 for One so fast. we talk 4.2.2. first.

HTC seriously need to re-evaluate its priority. The recent One S update announcement was kinda surprise to me. my 2.5yr Tab 2 was recently updated to 4.1.2. Remember Xperia X10 fiasco? Even Sony have learn their lesson.

My google now not working. 4.2.2 suppose to allow swipe up home button to call Google Now. Ain't working.

Since when is Google Now not available in Malaysia? I was using it fine on my S3 few mths back.

Eh... My wechat can uninstall.

Wait.... I can uninstall but that cud mean uninstall the update not the app. Lemme try to uninstall and report back.

Yup.... That's the culprit. Mine was English (malaysia). I guess google now dun understand Manglish.

I notice if you choose different language you get different function. I select english (uk) and the function underline mispelled word is disabled.

A day on 4.2.2. What I think so far.

What I'm most happy:
1. The toggle buttons r back
2. Remapping home button
3. Batt indicator
4. I can change dock shortcut
5. Wats in dock appear in apps tray

What I dun care:
Daydream

What I'm not too happy:
1. My batt dun last as 4.1.2
2. The "add widget to lock screen" is not very useful.

..... and the wait for 4.3 begins.

Try this....

From the Facebook apps, logout completely. Then login in again. FB will ask if u wanna ask to sync to contact.

go to Setting > Account. Open up the Google account. then open up the registered google account name. Here you can select what you want and don't want to sync.

if you wanna sync when you open the app, just open up Gmail and slide down. this will check for new mail.

did HTC remove the Android easter egg?

the one where you quick tap on the android version, you get a nice Android version mascot.
