if you going to throw your phone in ur bag with other stuff, flip case with thick front cover might be suitable. get a tempered glass for a screen protector if you may. its harder than gorilla glass 2 used on HTC One.

Thanks guys. Just sent it to the hospital.. Total cost: RM544. (Pretty cheap compared to the RM700+ for the HTC Butterfly)

Will be ready by end of this week! smile.gif Gotta handle this phone with ultimate care!!!

Since I saw so many people sending in their H1 to Service Center for 1 to 1 exchange, Let me share my experience.

Sent in on May 28th if not mistaken. The staff WILL DEFINITELY told you your phone will be ready in around 3 days.

Then, one week passed. Called them and they told me my phone status is still PENDING, no UPDATES from the service center.

p/s the hotline you called is HTC cust. care.. not the service center.  So, if you want to speed up your process, all they can do is just e-mail the service center. In other words, i think it is useless. UNLESS, you are able to reach the higher level management like @Kurogane does.

The Cust. Care staff will give you all sort of answers to you. Ie: Sir, your phone is waiting to be shipped from Taiwan Sir. Sir, usually one-to-one exchange takes 2 WEEKS sir. Sir, we have to confirm whether your phone is eligible for one-to-one exchange..... WTF?

2 weeks passed.. I can't tolerate anymore. Went all the way to Kelana Jaya from Bangsar. And the Service Center said my phone is at Kastam.. It was a relief.. BUT, i am still unable to get it.. I DON'T KNOW WHY it takes 1 week to take the parcel from Kastam to HTC.

LAST, I receive my phone after ""3 WEEKS"""

So guys, don't expect you will receive in 3 days, 1 week, etc.

But, one thing is, your phone is manufactured right after u send for one-to-one exchange, which is very efficient. Mine and Kurogane phone is manufactured 3 days after sent in to htc.

Good luck!

Holy shit. Now that's scary. How to tell if it's manufactured three days or two days? Just called the call centre, they couldn't tell me anything as of today yet. Said they'll call me once there's any updates lol...

Collected my unrepaired phone (gap issue) from the centre yesterday, any idea how to deal with the gap apart from using a case. Anyone tried gluing it or something?

i read somewhere in xda, someone managed to fix the gap by using hairdryer and clip only.
