my itunes backup actually is quite old, if restore will the data/photos will be gone?

If you update through iTunes, most probably it'll immediately backup first.

Any updates?

If you got use Photo Stream, most likely photos will be backed up there immediately when you connect to wifi

TOMEI-R was right. My a year and 4 months old iPhone 5 is getting closer to ICU.

When he's happy, battery can stay at 1% for quite a long time. If not, like yesterday, 18% already shut down. After 5 minutes, can boot up again, and in a minute it'll shut itself down again.

GG la.

Nope. But if you restore your iPhone, those photos will usually redownload back to your phone.

That's why I synced my iPhone every weekend.

Not only you have to uninstall iTunes, you have to uninstall all the drivers and clear all the data before reinstalling iTunes.

But don't worry your backup datas won't be lost.

Apart from just uninstalling iTunes, try to uninstall all the drivers like Bonjour, etc.

Uninstall anything that's by "Apple Inc."

better if redownload the instalelr.
