i hurt my lower back doing upper back (traps/lats/deltoid) exercise. usually i dont do lower back but today i hurt it so badly cause i think i lift too heavy and my lower back is reaching its maximum strength to support my heavy upper back exercise.
should i wear a straps around the back from now on? or leave it to recover and train lowerback before i can hit heavy upper back?
I wont be giving advice on your back problem, I'm not a doctor. should i wear a straps around the back from now on? or leave it to recover and train lowerback before i can hit heavy upper back?
Next time, don't forget to train your lower back. Romanian Deadlift, hyperextension can make your lower back stronger.
You must be asking, why do you need to train your lower back? Well, it is the most prone injury bodypart for bodybuilders and it connects your lower body and upper body. Almost all exercises need the lower back as main body part or supporting the movement. Don't forget to train it. It's good having Big lats but weak lower back to support it is a big fail.
