So delicious and no ppl.. btw I booked the whole restaurant lar..so only me sitting and eating.. after eat I too free so think what to do with my car.. Then I open hood see see..took out the knn air filter.. oh my.. so dirty, black like carbon filter wor.. then I remember I didn't bought a carbon filtered air filter.. so I blow blow bit but still alot dust.. Without waiting further, I immediately rev to the nearest exhaust shop, about 2km from subaidah.. After reach there, I tok tok with the taugeh, he can clean knn or not.. I saw he selling oso on the rak.. He say can wor.. so I immediately take out then show him.. he tot I bring carbon filtered air filter.. so after that he help me clean it then blow, and reoil bek with knn oil... he cas me rm5 nia.. I promise will remember him forever.. after that put bek the filter in my car..make sure the bottom clip fasten properly.. To my surprise, the driving exp so smooth wor!! Feel like driving fake lala.. so lesson learned here, is pls clean your air filter often or get ancarbon filterd air filter if exist.. thank you, have a nice day.. |

QUOTE(K3nnYkl82 @ Jul 15 2013, 04:54 PM) ABS vs ASC WHO IS ALEX???ABS 1. Antilock braking system (ABS) 2. Electronic brake distribution (EBD) ASC 1. ABS 2. EBD 3. Advance Traction Control (ATC) - dunno the term correct or not d .. 4. Active Stability Control (ASC) What does it do ? 1. ABS - during emergency .. when u floor the brakes. the wheel might lock up rendering the car uncontrolable due to No traction as the tire have virtually 0 grip on the road and skid due to the momentum. When the Speed sensor sense the speed of ANY wheel different from each another while the ecu calculates it, the pump will kick in and release the fluid rapidly (kick release kick release) to allow u to gain back traction. 2. EBD - the pressure sensor within the pump detects if there is a sudden press of the brake pedal hence the ECU knows u trying to brake rapidly, the pump then react by assisting u to pump more fluid to the brakes for extra braking power. 3. ATC - explain further in example later. 4. ASC - explain further with example .. Physical Component ABS 1. 4x speed sensor (each on each wheel) 2. 2x pressure sensor 3. physical pump with ECU ASC 1. 4x speed sensor (each on each wheel) 2. 2x pressure sensor 3. physical pump with ECU 4. Steering angular sensor (SAS) 5. G rate and Yaw sensor ** Physical pump for ASC and ABS is different. ASC pump can control each individual valve connected to each individual wheels. Scenario 1 - Cruising during rainy days and suddenly hit a pot of water. have to get back to the basic first .. every car have a differencial. this is to allow left and right wheel have different spinning speed so that u can go thru conner properly. But the bad side of it .. the differencial is LAZY .. its SMART as well .. if u jack up ur car .. says left front .. and u floor the pedal .. ur left wheel spin but right wheel does not . this means the differencial will look for the LESS resistance wheel to spin (in this case the LEFT wheel tat is jack up) .. (our lala runs on front wheel .. with an open differencial) without ASC .. says the left front wheel hit the water .. and the right wheel are on the road still. The moment the wheel hit the water , the water causes instant resistance towards the left wheels. So the SMART differencial here will divert its power towards the right wheel. this will cause the left wheel with lesser power hence pushing the car towards a counter clockwise spin. (You will feel that ur steering wheel suddenly drag towards the left). With ASC .. the ECU monitor the wheel .. when the car hit the water on the left wheel, the ASC pump reacts ASAP. braking the right front wheel to create the resistance as of the left (water ) both side having the same resistance so the open differencial will just proceed to provide power to both wheels. So the car just move forward. Scenario 2 - A dog ran out from the left side causing u to do sudden maneuver to the right . without ASC .. The sudden turn causes the car to understeer due to the massive weight shift. the front of the car pointed to the right, but the tail will be throw straight ahead due to the weight shift and the momentum. If you are lucky that u didnt kena the DOG .. now ur car is pointing elsewhere of the road, then u try to counter steer it . it become worse due to the weight shift again and ur tires cant do the gripping properly. hence u go into a spin. with ASC .. The dog came out of no where. u do a sudden right turn .. the SAS (Steering angle sensor) is telling the ECU (the driver is turning by 40 degree) .. but the G sensor is telling the ECU the car is only turning 10 degree. The ecu calculates the speed and the angle diffference. within split second, the ecu activates the rear right brake. the sudden brake on the rear right brakes will cause the car to change the angle drastically. @ it turn the car to the direction the steering is pointing. Now the car is pointing to the opposite road, the driver will automatically turn the steering back to left (back to his lane) .. same thing happen . the weight shift, the SAS and G sensor telling the ECU different story, this time the ecu brakes the front left brake to assist the car back to the left. SORRY too free .. write a bit essay ... The info above i got it from Alex and tot sharing it .. |
