Some said better pick up but ECO will tune back later and make no different.
Some said will hurt the engine as more dust come in.

Been using it for about 1 1/2 years...no problems, i think dust or not depending on how you maintain...if wash n reoil constantly i think ok no problem....rather than use original but never change also almost the same. Malaysia driving condition still ok lar.....another reason why most of us are using is because the cost of KNN is only slightly higher than original repplacement....we cheapskates mah pay same but can reuse.

Hehe.. I also think of if can reoil and reuse everytime is very cost-saving.

Now more confident and definately will go for it.

By the way, how much you bought o? From speedworks?
The cleaning kit come together with the filter?

i've also been using the drop in for around 1 and a half year, was one of the first mod i did to my car...

don't about the dyno result, but my buttdyno tells me there's difference.. plus point is can just wash when dirty no need replace, hence would be cheaper than stock filter in the long run

go auto garage look there r at least 2 selling it... me get it from one of them rm220...

guys, could i know what is the consequences of removing (-)battery terminal just to remove steering airbag cover? any side effect after i install back everything ?

Thats becoz ur power band move slightly upwards to the higher rpm range. Ori filter u havr a more linear band. Low rpm u wan some restriction to allow the AFR to mix better thru turbulance (dun really know how to put in words) layman terms ur lower end drop slighly.. When higher rpm u dun wan restriction, by the time u get there, the power suddenly comes more drastically compare ur stock filter, hence ur butt feel the extra power. Then ur engine ran out of rpm range

Korek. But look at my explaination. Low end drop slightly hence when the rev fall under the powerband u felt the slight surge. Compare to more linear on stock filter. Hence ppl says can feel increase power. Actually the low end dip sudden comes power thats when u feel it
