Hey there. This will be my first time coloring my Gundam, so need a little advise here. What's the difference between arcylic and enamel? From Google, seems like most people quite content with arcylic. And do I have to spray primer first before apply any paint on the kit? I have one SandRock, which I wanted to repaint the whole kit coz I hate the color scheme. Make it look more like, sandy. And I don't have airbrush, I just use normal hobby brushes. I did it before to paint my transformers, and the result seems ok.

My first Gundam was Heavy Arm Custom, the clown face Gundam, circa 1998. I was visiting KL that time for Commonwealth, and got that Gundam as a present. Instantly fall in love with gunpla. That time I was 9 y.o. However, my lil sister broke the Gundam and flush it inside the toilet. No, seriously.

Then there's a long hiatus before I purchase another batch of Gundam, due to limited avaibility at Miri, Sarawak. I remember I only purchase those 1/144, NG, the one in the small box, the manual is on the box itself. I remember I have quite few of those NG. Astray Red Frame, Freedom, Mobile DINN, Mobile suit GuAIZ. My first HG is Astray Red Frame. Fall in love with it, the katana, fuh. Then I purchased Aile Strike Gundam HG, Infinite Justice HG, and 1/100 NG sword strike.

Then again, I stop for a while due to financial problem. Gundam was so expensive back at Miri, twice the price. But then, 2012, I started to work at KL, and I started gunpla again. And guess what is my first purchase? HG 1/100 Heavy Arm Custom!! Then come Wing Gundam MG, Wing Gundam ver Ka MG, Astray Red Frame MG, MKII AEUG RG, Destiny RG, RX78 RG and Sandrock MG.

Recently I went back to sarawak for hari raya, open my old toy box, found some of my old Gundam. NG 1/100 Sword strike, HG astray red frame and infinite justice HG. The rest had been destroyed by my God d*mn cat. Man, that time I have no knowledge in Gunpla. No panel line, nub mark everywhere. So I bring it all to KL for repaint and redo, this time, correctly.

So yea, stop buying gundam for a while, time to redo all those old toys yo.

In an unrelated news,

Time Machine is nback in business. Man, that place never fail to impress me with the variety of paint and paint stuff. And new hobby shop next to it, quite big. IT Toys if my memory serve me right.

Hm. It was close when IT centre was under renovation. Man, it was nightmare when Time Machine closed. I have no other option to buy paints, other than Time Machine. Although I hate the guy that work there.

I only get those metal stuff from mgs2u.com. When Time Machine still renovate, I get my paints from one of the member here. But xpuas man, coz have to wait for shipment, this n that. So yea, glad that shop is open for business already.

Ayy anyway anyone ever use metal decal before? How was it?

Well, they are not friendly, seems like malas wanna layan customer. I go there, sometime I ask this n that, that fat guy like so malas wanna answer, not to mention annoyed when asked. But then, the store is good, lots of paint, which is good for me. Meh, now I just go there, grab things I want, pay and chow. If I want to discuss bout gunpla, I will go to Gamers Arena.

Lol seconded. Kinda right, but then, I'm aking the thing I wanna buy. I guess he don't get any commision, that's why he kinda malas wanna promote. If I go to Time Machine, sure I buy some stuff, paints. But gamers arena, I just stand at the glass cabinet, admiring the gundam, drolling for an hour, then go inside, jalan2, take a look at the boxes for another hour, then left without buying anything.

Anyway on unrelated topic, say I wanted to paint my justice white, and as u all know, the original color is pink. What should I use as a base? Coz I was told to use surfacer, and I bought Mr Surfacer 500, and that thing is like liquid paper. Any idea?

Yea mine also hilang. Right now I'm using nail clipper, then trim use hobby knive, and sanding.

Anyway, any of u here own wing gundam Ver Ka? I know its quite hard to pose the gundam with his big rifle. I mati akal already on how wanna pose him. Reference please?

Hm. The main problem is I can't get him to hold his rifle. The same goes for the other gundam wing (the one with the bird wing).

Grey palm. Ok get it. Will try my best to let him hold his gun. Anyway WZC can pose without the gun. The problem is the Ver Ka. Well, if all said and done, Mr Permanent Glue have to do the trick.

Anyway guys, I'm very sure most of u here own a Nu Gundam Ver Ka. And since I have some extra budget this month, I plan to buy the mentioned gundam. However they is one thing I need to confirm first:
1. I read that the Nu V.Ka comes with partition for LED, however LED not provided. Small problem though. I just want to know, which part of the gundam, u know, bercahaya if I insert the LED? I read that the LED partition is somewhere on the chest. How about the head? Does it shine with LED or not? I tried google, but most of the outcome was customized gundam with LED.

Need help on this.

Owh. So basically only the head will light up? I was hoping the psychoframe would light up as well. Hahaha. Alrighty then. Gamers arena currently out of stock. Any other MG with led? Beside Nu ver Ka?

I just bought a Mr Crystal Color Moon Pearl paint, and it doesn't seems right to use handbrush to use it. Have to use airbrush I guess. Any idea about the price?
