QUOTE(rihuhs @ Jul 1 2013, 05:14 PM) QUOTE(TaurusOxford @ Jul 1 2013, 08:12 PM) A MG Nightingale would not be profitable for Bandai AT ALL. The only people who would buy it are Char super-fanboys, and even then it would be a poor idea cause the price of a Nightingale would match if not surpass PG prices. Did an unofficial company manufacture a conversion kit for the nightingale?Btw, I'm no Aznable fan but that kit looks sick. Heck, I've never even watched a single gundam episode before. |

Question to all,
Anyone with experience buying Gundam kits in HongKong? Am going there soon, but the only shop I found was an online shop. gkgundam, price pretty reasonable but they don't have a physical shop just an office in kowloon. Any actual shops in HK? Not those tacky/dodgy shops in tsim tsa tsui. |

QUOTE(jstbid @ Jul 4 2013, 09:29 AM) Hi, Thank you Mong kok do have some shops but price are ok. There is another street called toy street the price there is cheaper than mong kok. http://www.discoverhongkong.com/us/shop/wh...yuen-street.jsp This street has lots of toys shop along the street you can hunt for the right price but cannot guarantee they have lots of choices and also not sure all shops accept credit card. Just found a youtube video showcasing shops in HK. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1uyXEjoNV0...C9288764A5578C3 |

QUOTE(ayonan @ Jul 24 2013, 05:49 AM) New to collecting gunpla(not really). I don't know if this is the right thread to post & ask. If no, I'm sorry. Probably everyone has their own MUST have list. Here my story. I collect gundam when I was in school. During that time, I manage to turn my best friend to gundam lover. Well, since I still in school, only afford to buy after raya. Collected about 10 gundam action figure. When I was 16, I entered boarding school. Stay there for 3 months without going back home. When I come back home, all gundam broken. My niece and nephew. :'( It's been years. 10 years maybe. Remember my best friend? A few months ago, he give me this third party gundam model. Try to assemble. Just like vanPersie said, the little boy in me screamed to collect gundam back. Been collecting since then. Only got like 12 for now. All 1/144. I don't like big toys. Now, for the question. What gundam I MUST HAVE in my collection? And I only collect 1/144 scale, well for now. Like what gundam all gundam collector MUST HAVE? Thank you, and sorry if this is posted in wrong thread. Must Haves for 1/144: 1. Sinanju (articulate despite smaller size) 2. All Unicorn Gundam QUOTE(ayonan @ Jul 24 2013, 07:21 AM) Thank you. Just what I needed? Just bought a few kits from tytroum, awaiting parcel to arrive. His prices are competitive.Btw, where do you guys purchase your gundam? Me from gundam.my. I consider cheap there. No? QUOTE(ayonan @ Jul 24 2013, 12:51 PM) Don't laugh at me okay. My first attempt on weathering & battle damage. Not good at all. Hehe...good attempt though they look like the pemadam (eraser) we used during primary school.[attachmentid=3550826] |

Posting here because our kind MOD said this is the right place
====================================== A bit off the usual hobby discussion but bear with me: I've always had this fascination for Gundam kits but never got into the hobby as I was put off with the retail prices here in Malaysia. Then I went to Japan. After seeing the insanely low prices at bic camera/yodabashi, what was I waiting for! A few hundred ringgits for 3 kits won't hurt. They just look freakin' awesome. It is now exactly 2 months since I bought my first kit and now I have bought a total of 7 kits (All Master Grades and 2 High Grades) Now here's the thing. In the space of 2 months, these are the kits I've bought. 1. MG Aile Strike RM 2. HG Rx-0 Unicorn Titanium Finish 3. HG Blue Astray 2nd L 4. MG MSA-0011 Ex-S 5. MG Shin Musha Sengoku No Jin 6. MG Musha Gundam Mk2 7. MG Red Frame Kai Of all the kits I've bought, I've only had time to assemble 2 and 3, the easy kits. It's like I've gone nuts with my buying and no time to truly enjoy assembling. Buying one new kit every week! ....and then there's the issue of buying spray/paint/brushes/markers ......then those Resin kits look fantastic! There are just...SO many. I'm sure the majority of gunpla collectors/modellers want to do their best with their models right? I just have this nagging feeling that I won't be able to put enough time into getting decent at my modeling skills. Maybe I should just improve at my current hobby, drumming! Summary: So much to do, so little time! |
