Is there a place I can go to learn to paint? I keep Googling stuff up, but never really got the idea of how to start painting.

Of course start with the usual, sanding, cement, putty, then primer.

But then I have no idea whether I should be using spray cans or make my own combination for an air brush.

Nice nice. SUBSCRIBED!!!
Very short videos though. Still, pretty informative.

What do you guys recommend I start with? HG? China brand? SD?

if you want something easy to build, I would recommend HGUC. MG is just a bit complicated since there are more parts and inner frame. RG is somewhat more complex since it is minute. SD very easy actually tongue.gif

Alright. Time to get me some new kits. I'm thinking of trying out on my HG Spallow. It's so sexy, but I'm thinking of trying out painting on it and then getting the MG for display biggrin.gif

i'd say HG.. SD won't appeal to everyone, plus it's too simple to paint up, since it has lesser details.. i'll say go for the newer HGs.. like the HGUC from unicorn series.. those have a lot of detail for you to try your hand at painting

Ahh the Unicorn series looks pretty good. Is it possible to color over the clear parts? From clear pink > clear red/green. Nooblet questions I know XD

Btw what grade do you use for sanding? I'm currently using 2000grit sand papers, but that clogs up pretty fast. Should I get some proper sand files?
