indeed.. as to your reply to him, i stand by my earlier assumption that he painted those parts ON the runner then cut them off to assemble them

i'd say HG.. SD won't appeal to everyone, plus it's too simple to paint up, since it has lesser details.. i'll say go for the newer HGs.. like the HGUC from unicorn series.. those have a lot of detail for you to try your hand at painting

slightly nicer paint (not sure about this one.. need confirmation).. a small sheet of extra decals and an extra adapter for usage with HG stands for some models

slightly off topic though

it's actually possible as the DE is mounted onto the shield, so the shield connectors are still there

with even MORE puke gold! because Bandai would say, who doesn't like puke gold?

i think this is mainly why it looks more appealing.. but for the pricepoint it's going at, it's not really that worth it.. seeing as all the other PGs have better gimmicks or much lower pricepoints.. SF just seem to be overshadowed greatly, leaving one of the best designs for this mecha a bit.. left out of a lot of people's collection

^ this.. for the same range, this puke golden kit has to compete with 00Raiser, Zeta, GP01

and in order we have,

- GN Drive gimmick, overall bulkier sillhouette, basically a 2-in-1 with 0Raiser and 00
- transformable, although portions are a bit out of whack
- another basically 2 kits in 1 since u have parts for both GP01 and FB plus the hangar base etc etc

i don't see how anyone who isn't a die-hard SEED fan can justify buying PG SF

well damn.. i don't think that's a 1/60 MG.. its looking more like a 1/60 NG

well damn, because i DID buy the old one just early this year.. no matter, with the extra katana i got from a random other gundam that forsomereason came with the katana, he looks damn badass anyway
