err, master lim, about my promise to paint my MCM ground, i'm re-thinking about what color to use, because found a video about jesta painted using tan was much more BAD*SS than forest camo, while according to my sense, i have to paint it IJA green/german gray, and testing it for my jesta, now sanded all parts, and painted the forearm green, while planning to paint the sleeve tan, so it's a bit camo-ish, with less masking, but haven't figure out any plan for the body and head, any advices?

Yup totally hand painted.. The airbrush with booth somehow will still have smell doing indoor.. Have kids and elderly at home so not wise to spray and affect their health.

Wow, never guess that hand painting can get such a good result. May I know what type of color you used?

I'm not the mainstream people who use acrylic paint.. I'm using lacquer paint.
I guess maybe need practice over time will be ok.. not as perfect as airbrush but i can live with it.
I am mainly use as per below

Dark metallic dark & light green
Metallic yellow
Metallic white silver/dark silver
Gun metal black
Cool white
Metallic red
Metallic dark blue

I can't remember what else I used.. i think that is about all.. to get a better finish for hand paint
use thinner with retarder.. & remember to get a respirator.. the lacquer paint smell can kill..

I also wanted to try painting my kit, but to get an airbrush is an overkill for me... since my main priority is to hide the nub marks.

I have half a dozen of old HG 1/144 from the wing series. Due to its age (10 years ++) the 'white' has become 'yellow-ish' and the red become dull. I think I start with them by painting the white parts.

shave, glue or pray, pick one tongue.gif not much i could help with.. i assembled the Ex-S and the Hi Nu and both of them have very difficult LEDs to wire.. i just did what i could and snapped the head together.. spent too much time with the LED, even then the LED switch hardly works sweat.gif
