QUOTE(monocle @ Jul 2 2013, 10:37 AM) From some SAs, 2.0 will only get it August.. Will ask my SA later, hopefully my booking is the 1st one for 2.0 in that outlet.. Judging from my previous experience buying the Forte 2.0, it took more than 4 months from the launching date to actually get the car (the Forte 2.0) though the SA told me (that time) that i will get it in less than 2 months time. Worth to mention that i booked that car before the launching date. Those who booked the Forte 1.6 last time managed to get the car in about 2-3 weeks after the launching date (in CBU form) I hope that NazaKia learned some lesson regarding that past experience & deliver the Cerato 2.0 as soon as possible by stocking it up earlier prior to launching. QUOTE(monocle @ Jul 2 2013, 03:36 PM) From my sa 2.0 can get within this month but i really doubtful.. Unless someone saw this car (Cerato 2.0) at Port Klang or at NazaKia factory/stockyard by now, i'm also really doubtful. Last time, no Forte 2.0 in the showroom for the whole Malaysia except the only 1 red colored unit that NazaKia purposely brought in from Korea during launching. In another words, i booked my car last time without ever seeing the actual car, let alone to test drive it This post has been edited by izputra: Jul 2 2013, 03:43 PM

NazaKia SC gives good service to me for 3 years+ already. I've sending my car to at least 5 different SC at KL, Selangor & Kedah..all thumbs up i have to say. Several times went to Toyota SC sending my father's Vios for service, nothing special about Toyota SC actually..& nothing to shout about. NazaKia SC service is on par with Toyota SC if not better in this case..that's on my own observation. Try it to believe it This post has been edited by izputra: Jul 3 2013, 03:45 PM

QUOTE(tweakity @ Jul 7 2013, 08:35 PM) any info on the service interval and costs? Service interval should be every 10k km provided that u use the fully syn engine oil Regarding service cost, for Cerato 1.6, i believe it should be more or less the same with the Forte 1.6 becoz the Cerato use the same but upgraded Gamma Engine (on Forte 1.6). Please go to Forte thread (first post), i did tabulate the service cost comparison in that thread. For Cerato 2.0, the service cost should be at the same range as the Optima K5 because both cars use the same Nu engine if i'm not mistaken. For the exact cost, i dont have it unless for Forte 2.0 (Theta engine) in which u can find it at Forte thread also This post has been edited by izputra: Jul 8 2013, 11:50 AM

QUOTE(NyOx @ Jul 8 2013, 12:43 PM) That good. I think someone can share experience or checklist after get new car what need to do. Maybe bro @izputra can share his experience since he one of member get first batch forte. Kindly go to Forte thread. On the first post got some common but useful information (checklist, FAQ, SC list..etc). From my experience with NazaKia SC, u can ask them to do tire alignment & balancing for free for the first 2k km This post has been edited by izputra: Jul 8 2013, 12:53 PM

QUOTE(NyOx @ Jul 8 2013, 02:39 PM) Hi Bro @izputra, thank you for fast feedback.   very helpful for new owner . So between 2k KM people who buy cerato can do tire alignment & balancing for FREE is it? how to confirm this thing? If u read Forte thread from the beginning, u will notice that the testimonial is everywhere..proven Just complaint about your car misalignment & request the SC to do wheel alignment + balancing. Make sure they put your complaint on the job sheet during servicing or else the technician wont do it. Actually SC Manager (Selayang SC) did confirm about this (free wheel alignment & balancing for the first 2k km) when we (myForteClub) organised TT there. I believe this should applies to all NazaKia new cars This post has been edited by izputra: Jul 8 2013, 03:03 PM

QUOTE(dec08 @ Jul 9 2013, 03:25 PM) well, it fitted with what i amazed is 1)motor steering where u can choose which type u prefer (light, normal, heavy-sport)...light one really too light... not used to it but good for parking. 2) memory seat and the control really nice. enjoy playing with it (sorry im kinda outdated). will auto adjust behind to ease ur exit when u open ur door. 3)welcome light 4) cooler compartment for u to keep drink 5) engine part, i cant tell coz only manage to drive to 70-80 near my area only. but quiet inside. downside is 1) no gps. 2) media screen too small, not like latest forte.Reserved for the facelifted Cerato later on i believe..same happens to Forte

QUOTE(Buydirect @ Jul 12 2013, 05:50 PM) Some posters to keep the interest going..... This Cerato is very tempting i must say, but i have to skip on this becoz my Forte is just 3 years+ in age & still proud to drive it until now. Will wait for the next gen K5 or perhaps the next gen Rondo since family members keep growing Hopefully Euro 4 fuel will be introduced by next year as planned by our G. Eager to wait the real Turbo-diesel car to reach our shore

QUOTE(Aaron135LC @ Jul 12 2013, 11:52 PM) Bro. wanna ask something. Is the waiting list long for Cerato..? My mum told me last time when Forte was launched, at least around 6 months waiting list. How is the progress now..? For Forte last time, after the initial launching, the waiting list is about 4 months only..not 6 months & that applies to Forte 2.0 only. People who book Forte 1.6 get their cars within weeks after launching. But if we talk about Kia (Forte) Koup, yes..the waiting list is that long last time

QUOTE(gbx @ Jul 15 2013, 02:24 PM) water dripping/leaking from front passenger seat leg area..causing some water logging on the floor.. SC guy said that the aircond piping to leak off the condensed water is choked..so they repair it immediately within an hour++..hope no major issue raise from this event.. btw the kia hotline ppl follow up and call me after repair to check my status and make sure the report is in their system..hope it is sign of a good after sales service by nazakia and benefits to us.. After more than 3 years owning a Forte, i must say that NazaKia SC & after sales service is improving day by day. On my first year (2010), no such call (follow up call) after sending my car for the scheduled service (or complaints). Starting from 2011/2012 if i'm not mistaken, they (NazaKia) really did a follow up call after any complaints or service at their SC to make sure that customer satisfied with their service. In my place (Alor Setar), NazaKia SC also keen enough to provide shuttle service to send & fetch me to or from my office (while waiting for my car to be serviced). Thumbs up to their good after sales service
