I am currently using petronas primax95, have only pump twice petrol my first pump i got 450km = rm97.00. My 2nd pump was 440km = rm86.00. My travelling consist mainly of town driving pJ to bangsar n back n forth, a little of nkve, duke, kajang highway once a week.

My old ride was a honda city, used to pump shell got between  300km - 320km = rm65 - rm69. When i swtiched to the new petronas primax 95 i got 330km - 370km = rm65 - rm69. I would say quite a difference it made since i always reset my mileage every full tank fuel refill.

I will change to shell to test the cerato after my 1000km service and swtich back to petronas, will update all cerato drivers of my latest results. Stay tune hahahahha

Lately just fueled up with Petron and can feel my car is sluggish. from my experience, Petronas seems better than Petron. However i always fuel up at halftank level so sometimes is a mixture of different petrol brand. Now consider to stick to one or two max if manage to identify which brand is the best.

Below are some of my sharing for my 1.6 upon reaching 4K mileage,

(i) My car when idle, the RPM can shoot up from 0.7 to 0.9 and just stay at 0.9....anyone have this experience?

(ii) Car boot have "Ngek ngek" sound when i go through the hump or cornering at uneven road...

(iii) NVH is at lower side when compare to my previous N brand car. Mostly is due to the tyre noise to the cabin.

(iv) GPS speed reading always 5km/h lower that the speedometer.

(v) Spring rattling sound from Steering which is from the GREEN pick up call button when crusing at higher speed (Need to off the HU to hear it)

Other than that, quite satisfy with my car so far...

Cheers!

Yup...tomorrow will send car to SC check check...

My car idle a while, the rpm will increase from 0.7 to 0.9 and it just stay there. I can feel the car vibrate stronger. Appointment with red cube to fix the issue. Hope they will fix this and my car boot sound when cornering too.

I found out that my dashboard got rattle sound only 1000km, anyone can help. I ask the service centre, he said if little leave it. Really kidding, not more than a month got a sound.
*
Can elaborate more on the rattling sound? Which part of dashboard and when will it start rattling... cold or hot weather etc.

I am facing rattling sound from my dashboard at my clock area. Especially during hot weather and uneven road. After you press the area, the sound reduced.... my car only 5k km nia!

Been driving 2.0 for a month. The harshness of the car is really bad on bumpy road and potholes since day 1. Whole car including myself really vibrates alot. Funny thing is test drove cars feel different and good on bumps absorption. Perhaps the suspension tuning difference of CBU and CKD batch.

Have tried all different tyre pressures. Rbach and stiff rings show some improvement at 1st but back to normal after few days.

Getting more frustrated each day and also on the rattling noise at speedometer and driver door, knocking sound on rear left door,
driver seat movement sound during cornering. Sigh.......

Anyone facing this long list of issues and any solution?

I am on my 1.6 for 3 months. I have gone through most of your problems...dashboard sound, bumpy ride, rear boot sound, seat moving. Below are action taken to resolve the problems...

(i) Dashboard sound - I manage to identify was from area above the clock due to some HU bracket contact. SC opened and fix it...Took a day to settle.

(ii) Bumpy ride - somebody suggested me to change to a smaller rim eg 16 inches and better (quieter) tyre. It will absorb the bumpy feeling and quieter too. But I never try it as it is too costly for the whole process (wow...rim and tyres $$$)

(iii) Rear knocking sound 9During cornering) - was due to imperfect welding at the "boot pillar" (Left and right). Get it fixed by redo the welding to my car at the sc...one day gone

(iv) Seat moving - Been told by sc due to seat problem. Now waiting for new seat to be delivered to the sc and change.

Overall the car is just "ok" with this kind of pricing. You pay what you get! What I like the most to have this car is basically the safety features and gadgets which cannot be found as compare to other C segment cars.

Here are my 2 cents experience after 3 months ride,

Riding Comfort is little bit bumpy....Guess it's due to Big Rim, Thin Tyre and normal suspension (Torsion Beam).

NVH is lower that Jap brands, road noise easily penetrating the cabin (Can hear rain noise knocking at B Pillar area clearly).

Gadget is top notch....reverse camera, 8 inches screen, electronic adjustable seat, cruise control, Bluetooth connection, Rear air cond vent, Paddle shift etc. I just love it!!

Fuel consumption is slightly lower compare to Jap brand (I am getting average 8-10L/100km) with mostly highway cruising (70%).

Engine is less refine, louder and vibrate more than Jap brand But 6 speed gearbox is acceptable (At least better that HonTa Sivic with 5 speed auto). 1.6 for me is slightly underpower. Better go for 2.0 if you are afford to have it.

Handling - NO comment as I am not a Speed Demon!! No harsh cornering and High speed cruising (Max is 150km/hr on highway)

My 2 cents!

Can you share and describe more on the Dashboard Sound? I have been experiencing "tak tak tak tak" sound even when engine is off completely...it takes a while to go off. wonder if it's the same as yours.

So far they have not been able to identify the problem. hope yours is the same issue and then i can go to the right SC so resolve it once and for all
*
It's some kind of "Spring" rattling sound above the clock area. Just hit lightly at the area and you should be able to notice the sound. Don't think it's your "Tak Tak" sound.

Have been driving the car for 4 months. Anyone notice the car roof seems hollow without insulation?! The rain drop sound quite loud and annoying....feel bit below par compare to C-segmnet car standard.

I do agreed this car NVH is somehow lacking especially sound penetration and ride comfort.

My K3 has reached 23K mileage. So far quite satisfy with the ride. But lately my cabin getting noisier as I guess is this MC5 tire causing the noise. Anybody experience it? Even I found sitting in my friend Myvi is quieter than mine!

Any Otai can share any more silent and comfort tire model by experience and what is the price range? I heard Toyo maybe a good one for that purpose. I guess mine will last not more than 40K.
