Hi,
question regarding the fuel indicator, dunno if anyone experience the same?
My fuel indicator (the one show how far you can go), always become empty after reach 50KM, question is, does that mean I still can go for 50KM after its show empty or it is really empty?

Thanks.

It's completely normal. My Forte also behave the same. I believe Kia purposely doing it that way to make sure owners are not driving the car further without refueling. Meaning that..please refuel ASAP. By the way, it's not a good practice to drive a car which is too low in fuel as it might harm the catalytic converter
*
Thanks for ur feedback, I've always refuel bfore its run empty, but sometimes when I'm on a hurry than forgot to refuel.
Anyway thanks man.

This is perfectly normal as the manual does mentioned this. That when u run or reach 50km remaining to fuel. The indicator will become -.--km. However I never did manage to go below 70km to fuel as my refuel indicator lights up and when it does, I refueled 47L. Don't dare to go further when indicator lights up. As the readings are just mere for reference n does not guaranteed that amount of mileage. Better to trust indicator than reading of xxkm to refuel.

Haha, thanks for your advice, just curious and sharing experiences with other user here.
Will not let my car run on almost empty fuel again.. tongue.gif
