Actually, you have a buffer period between 1000 Km but before 2000 km, or after 1 month but before 2 months.
Actually, you can also service before the 1000 KM or 1 month period but the optimum time to do so is between the range I just mentioned.

let say 1Dec get the car(He is not heavy driver). 1st Jan suppose to do the first service but on 15Jan go for first service instead. (15 days later)
The next service is 6 month.

Kia will start calculate 15Jan + 6 month ? Or calculate 1Jan + 6 month ?

In principle, this is how it works

1st Service : 1000 Km or 1 month  (but not exceeding 2000 km or 2 months)
2nd Service : 10000 Km or 6 months  (but not exceeding 12000 km or 7 months)
3rd Service : 20000 Km or 12 months  (but not exceeding 22000 Km or 13 months)

Regardless of any delay in your earlier service, you MUST adhere to the subsequent servicing schedule.
In other words, Naza will not look at the duration you LAST service your car, they will look at the COMPLIANCE of the recommended service schedule.

A case scenario to clarify the above is as follows

One owner service at 1.9 months, next service, he service at 6.9 months later = which means his car is already 8.8 months. Based on the schedule by Naza, he has already passed the maximum 7 months period, and this will affect his warranty claim.

thanks for the info. Then I better go service on time =)
Mr Lo, last week someone called me from your office, said that can collect the 3 years free service already. Can you pm me the phone so that I can call and ask if I can get it tomorrow [holiday tmr]
Thanks Mr Lo.

noob question,

let say you're now in 60km/h,
In front is traffic light, which is 300 meter away,
I used manual car for like 5 years+, I'm having some bad habit, like, on manual, normally when you see the traffic light goes red, you will shift to Free gear (I got the feeling it'll save petrol)

So for Automatic car, will it hurt if I change to Free gear when the car golek until the traffic light ? [I'm guessing it wont, but just to be sure, I would like to ask sifu here]

4. Shift properly
Treatment of shifting is an important part of maintaining a transmission. There is a right way and a wrong way to shift gears with an automatic transmission. Never shift to the Reverse or Parking until the car comes to a complete stop. Plus, always ensure that your brake pedal is fully depressed when shifting from park to another gear.
