speaking of FC, does anyone verify how accurate the estimated FC shown on the dashboard?

i did my own calculation for the last full tank... dashboard shows 7.9l/100km... which is 12.6582km/l... but my own calculation is only 11.8xxxkm/l...

I calculated mine for few mths since Aug...quite close. Again, all depends on the traffic at each place.

hmm... how does the traffic affect the estimated FC? i thought it should just use the petrol used against distance?

Stop and go will consume more fuel if compare with constantly moving. That is why highway drive uses less fuel.

There are a few factors affecting FC
Quick acceleration and heavy braking can reduce fuel economy by up to 33 percent on the highway and 5 percent around town.
Excessive idling
Driving at higher speeds increases aerodynamic drag (wind resistance).

Frequent short trips can reduce fuel economy, since your engine doesn't operate efficiently until it is warmed up. On short trips, your vehicle operates a smaller percentage of time at the desired temperature. Note: Letting your car idle to warm-up doesn't help your fuel economy.

Carrying excessive weight decreases fuel economy.

Running electrical accessories (e.g., air conditioner) decreases fuel economy. Operating the air conditioner on "Max" will increase the FC

Driving on hilly or mountainous terrain or on unpaved roads can reduce fuel economy.

Most certainly would. There is a case involving a Sportage customer who fixed an amp onto his car and later got his warranty claim rejected by SC.

Thanks mate. I got white color. Damn hard to maintain but the beauty is worth the effort. biggrin.gif
My non-professional review tongue.gif :
In terms of power, the first night i drove on hill road, i can go up hill easily, no under power.
Stability, yes, i can speed steadily with the MDPS and their stability control.
Audio system, bass sucks that i can barely feel it, small screen.
What i dont like is the small rear view and lumbar support. The lowest adjustable level for the lumbar support is too low.
Be caution that the HID headlamps might be too bright for other drivers. I kena flashlight twice lol.

im bout to buy new car & adore with this k3..but my wife want me buy the new vios..coz what?..sexy looking design..Im convince her in term of safety feature & comfort but she still stick with her VOIS.im sure seeing 90k full spec vios & 99k spec k3 make people think again. Anyone help me to convince this kind of persons:(

HAHA...good news..my wife officially choosing k3 instead of vios.. I brought my wife 2x @ kia showrow to get the feel & make comparison with vios ,Elantra & civic..

1. Vios- cry.gif Too small for 178cm person, low safety feature & under power but sexy good looking.
2. Elantra - I feel something wrong with the absorber during zebra crossing, feel quite bumping. basic airbag(2 unit). But vsc include in higher spec 1.6 exec(97k) & 1.8(114k)
3. civic- Of coz power of dream . 1.8 so power . No keyless, same handling like civic FD1 ( i drive plenty of time my bro's car). Interior seem kotak2..no curve mode.

so when drive this k3.. more comfort, 6 air back, rear cam.. not under power,.got vsm. so i let my wife drive & she really satisfy,...& btw thanks to previous Audi designer..

now the problem. shakehead.gif i wanna test 2.0 version but all showroom onli got 1.6.. So anyone can recommend any showroon got this 2.0 version. sweat.gif
