Hi, i went for test drive 1.6 last week. The car very impressive.
Seriously considering the car.

However, hav a few concern, hopefully existing forte owners cn share their experience.
Test drive units are new n well, but how long does the car start to feel old especially cabin, like dash vibration etc, n the suspensions...
N hw available r the spare parts outside of official SC?
I drive a city for 5 yrs, n hav always service at official SC. Its damn expensive as almost everytime there will b parts to replace. So i don really see the japs being cheap to maintain as the whole market say. But i cn say its still solid after such long abuse from me n my wife

I'm using 4 years old forte CBU unit...
The car still feel like new bcoz maybe seldom use it, clock 55k km for 4 years...
Front suspension yet to chg, rear suspension chg once aldy...
A lot of spare parts can buy at KIA spare part segambut (not related to NAZA, just a normal spare part shop)...
I service my car at SC for 3 times (1k, 5k & 10k) only during free service, 4th time service bawah pokok aldy...
For past 4 years nothing major chg except rear absorber only...
The rest :-
- engine oil
- oil filter
- transmission oil
- plugs
- air filter
Even aircond + radiator also yet to service until today... 

Next major chg will be 80k km where need to replace :-
- front absorber
- v-belt
- fuel filter
- transmission filter
- ekon service
- radiator service

Hi Guys, just dropping by to thank Edwin (aka Motorman) for the impressive support he’s  given me from loan application, car registration up to collecting my Cerato 1.6. To complicate the matter I live in Northern part and most of the communication I have with him are mostly via Phone calls or Whatsapp. Some may wonder why I choose to deal with Edwin a few hundred kilometers away from my place instead of dealing with other SA a few blocks away from my place, my answer is simply because I was overwhelmed by his offer, I will not dig through the offers but feel free to PM him. In addition, throughout the process, he patiently  & carefully explained to me everything I want to know about the transaction (in layman’s term) which gave me a whole view of the picture to understand a certain situation properly and to a buyer/customer  point of view which made me feel worry- free. I have talked with some SA’s in our place but sad to say, their strategy didn’t work for me.  As I’m about to lose hope I contacted Edwin and there he came to the rescue. In less than 2 weeks I was able to collect my car! All in all it was a very smooth process from the beginning till the end. Many thanks to you Edwin “The Motorman” I’m glad that I’ve met you, till next time!

I wonder is there any extended promo for the last batch 2013 stock before CNY.. Or should I get 2014 instead. Can get new car b4 CNY would be great.

My SA told me 2014 car also can get before CNY, but then again this might be just "talk"

hi KIA cerato owners.
Just wanted to get some opinions from u guys.
I'm deciding between cerato 1.6 and 2.0..i like the 2.0 more for leather seat,  navigation but cost more. I only able to test drive 1.6 at my area but feel a bit underpowered. i feel like i need to rev more everytime wanna accelerate. But that is just a brief few minutes of drive. For the 1.6 features, i also eyeing for suprima s which i think has more power, better handling with more features and cheaper by 20k. So, for 1.6 owner, how do you think about that? Any 2.0 owner can share something.
i will be using it as my primary car, daily using almost 120km a day, about 60% city/old road, 40% highway.

Ooo thanks, Buydirect.  But what i mean is after parking my car in the rain, my back windscreen is covered by rain and i can't see though it.  So i can only look at my side mirror for cars and not rear view mirror. How to clear the water, press the last button on the right, defogging? how long?

Dear Mr.lo, Edwin and other sa, is it confirm that 2013 1.6 model is getting 5 yrs free maintenance instead of 3? Could U pm me the disc for 2014 model? And will glittery metal avail. Again in 2014 stocks?

I got the car like 1 month 1 week ago but i notice there's a bug like gegat (silverfish) in the car.  Try to get rid of it but donno where it went.  I'm wondering is it advisable to put mothball in the car? Is it harmful to be breathing in the car 

Hi all, I just got my bright silver 1.6 2014 Cerato few days ago from Edwin @ Motorman. I must say the level of professionalism is very good and I'm very happy to buy this car from him.  And the huper optic tint is very good. No issue with smart tag, but a little dark, scared jpj will tahan me later. 

Hi guys, am interest to get a Cerato 1.6, will mainly use it as family car to bring wifey and baby jalan jalan and balik kampung.
Would like to know more about

1) average fuel consumption?
2) How is cerato performance on those uneven road? and noise insulation
2) few package offer upgrade to full leather seat, how is the quality like? (Still prefer leather as it's easier for cleaning)
