i guess because the rear suspension is too soft..i put spring cushion/buffers to make it little more stiff and planned to change the tires from 215/45/17 to 215/50/17... i guess 45 profile is too low for a family car and offer little to no cushioning at all....

Kia as the user's manual didnt mention that we cannot drive more than 110km/h.... in fact u can drive until 150km/h in 6th gear for 2.0 as it still below 4k RPM QUOTE VEHICLE BREAK-IN PROCESS
No special break-in period is needed. By following a few simple precautions for the first 1,000 km (600 miles) you may add to the performance, econo- my and life of your vehicle. • Do not race the engine. • While driving, keep your engine speed (rpm, or revolutions per minute) between 2,000 rpm and 4,000 rpm. • Do not maintain a single speed for long periods of time, either fast or slow.Varying engine speed is need- ed to properly break-in the engine. • Avoid hard stops, except in emer- gencies, to allow the brakes to seat properly. • Don't let the engine idle longer than 3 minutes at one time. • Don't tow a trailer during the first 2,000 km (1,200 miles) of operation.

this is from manual... QUOTE CAUTION
i. Do not clean the inside of the rear window glass with a cleaner or use a scraper to remove foreign deposits as this may cause damage to the antenna elements. ii. Avoid adding metallic coatings such as Ni, Cd, and so on . These can disturb receiving AM and FM broadcast signals.

why not bring it to another SC like PJ red cube? since the PJ SC has their own accident repair shop thus maybe they can spot it with their experience dealing with accident cars...
before PJ red cube solved my rear creaking noise..i bought my car to 1 SC and another authorized SC.... 1 SC said due to my suspension issue and re-tighten the nuts while the authorized SC said due to my loosen spear tire but PJ red cube able to spotted it and solved it permanently by doing some spot welding since they have the facility.. no need chassis engineer from kimchi land...

IMHO... Naza Kia has forgotten the main reasons why ppl bought Cerato at the first place... Safety and Gadgets at very competitive price.... not because of the look and not because the brand... @RM90K..... i really want to find out from the future owners... why this and not the twin brother 1.6 from slanted H..not only both sharing same spec but the slanted H comes with ESP and VSM or the straight H V spec which more appealing in term of safety and rear/boot space at RM90K ... who need manual leveling for halogen headlight or how many of us really going to adjust it on daily basis..

the safety features itself (not the KX) already can throw the pathetic resale value to rubbish bin.... the interior quality is a bonus..... when come to mileage what is the accepted mileage for a C segment?... i tot in Driven episode 4, paultan and the gang already proven that 2.0 can be more fuel economy compare to FB2.0 with Eco Mode and ford with the latest direct injection.... it's all depending on ur right leg dude... real malaysia road test and not l hear from who and who

QUOTE(ykfnetwork @ Jul 8 2014, 09:16 PM) Maybe you're right, by the way my Kia Cerato is 1.6, and i think not every car is also can get same good mileage, my brother mivy can go 500km-550km per full tank (From Sri Petaling to PJ Old town), and also have some people say Toyota Camry 2.4 fuel save than Toyota Camry 2.0.(So maybe Kia Cerato 2.0 also fuel save than Cerato 1.6) Thank you. fuel economy is greatly depending on the power to weight ratio... why MyVI and vios can achieve good FC in city because the car is light and engine can provide more than adequate power plus max torque available earlier... take cerato as an example... it's abt 1,300 kg... 1.6 produces 157Nm of torque @ 4850 RPM while 2.0 produces 194Nm of torque @4800 RPM.... u think which one can take off more quickly and effortless ? road condition, traffic condition, etc also greatly affecting the FC as wel... QUOTE(Wyldemdd @ Jul 11 2014, 11:00 AM) Update with my case: Complaint to KIA HQ and i demand for new car change. Send my car to KIA HQ and let them see the condition and they offer me to repaint my car. I ask them only 1 question, what am i gonna use for my transport when it's in re-paint process??? and they can't answer me. At the very same day i went to 1 car detailing shop using maguiar's product and let the person in charge see the condition. And good news is it can be fix with the price of RM450 for the 4 layer treatment (Compound+clay+polish + glaze polish + wax) So the paint condition is good now although there is still remaining defect that lies inside the base paint. SA agree to let me claim for the cost for the 4 layer treatment and previous 3 layer treatment, total of RM 688. (the so call 3 layer treatment by Car's international is rubbish and it's not even a treatment but just a normal polish and wax. Please avoid Car's international service) not sure if u bring ur car to authorized dealer or KIA SCs.... from my experience with PJ Red Cube... if u have to leave ur car overnight for warranty claim...they will provide u a courtesy car usually a kia forte... at least this is what i got when i leave my car there for 1.5 days warranty claim...

QUOTE(Wyldemdd @ Jul 11 2014, 11:11 AM) Well i went to KIA HQ directly since the authorized dealer that i bought my car from doesn't help and keep on delaying my case. Sweet talk before you buy the car and once you bought the car, the service is horrible. 1st time in my life having so much problem with buying new car. From the not working GPS system to paint defect. I don't mine if they can provide me a transport to use while my car send for repaint. But when i ask what am i gonna use for my transport to the SA, he can't answer me nor provide me with solution. i see...in this case i think u shall just go to KIA official SCs for the warranty claim.... big SCs like the PJ red cube (their flagship SC) has in house paint shop and body shop.... whether it's paint defect or not i believe they can tell straight away... no worry abt replacement car as they have plenty kia forte 4speeder there for overnight warranty claim customers... anyway, good luck bro
