any recommendation body kit you all would suggest me ?

it is nice if you all could share your idea or detail to me or newbie here would be good.
Better if any 1 could post the picture of their cerato after modified the exterior . hehe

Hi keagan, just wondering why did you change the steering rack assembly? Was it because of noise?
*
yeah bro, the 2.0 sx forte was prone to having such issues back then. smile.gif

Ahh icic..is it like a rattling noise of sorts when you go on certain roads? I sent mine in as well and they say this requires a redesigned part from KIA HQ...

hi khan! thanks for the headsup. Really a tough choice... coz i really don't like the shape of the city on the outside...at all! interior only the high spec is okay for me...for kx even the most basic spec still looks nicer den the low spec city... gotta think really hard  yawn.gif

thanks for the info though~ biggrin.gif

Get K3 and you will not regret it.
Take a look at K3 after a year and you won't feel bored of the look.

The back lights are so sexy smile.gif

Btw, you are about right on the full tank mileage for pg island .... 350 - 380km for city drive.

Got my Kia Cerato 2.0 last week from Mr Loh KS a.k.a BUYDIRECT. Overall the sales process was smooth one although minor issue pop up but it got resolved before collecting the car. In terms of offer, he is giving a good one not best. Alot of people said best offer but I disagreed. It depends on what you are looking for: values or freebies. If freebies, yes is a good offer if you don't want any headache to look for it later.
Like everyone said he patiently explains the features in the car especially the HU unit and the steering wheels functionality. It was very informative at brief but in details you might need find out others own your own later.
So far have found 2 issues with sound after 2-3 days of driving:,
1 is the HU unit near emergency signal button have some buzz sound during even and uneven road. When press area with finger the buzz is gone but when release is back.
2. Sunroof also have some vibration sound too. Manage to find out where it is, when press the roof the sound not there but when release sound is there.

Anyone have this issue? Appreciate can shared which SC is best to go to get it fixed.

Other than that, I'm loving the K3 from each time driving it. laugh.gif thumbup.gif

Thank you for your kind feedback. Adding "Value" to a customer's purchase is the key principle that I strongly believe in. It is a win-win situation because we are able to source for those accessories/gifts in bulk, and pass it on to our customers, who otherwise would have to fork out much more to get the same, not to mention the time and inconvenience they would have to go through. Thank you once again for your support. Hope you will experience many many happy moments with your new ride for years to come. Cheers.

I was using the night breaker before this. It's quite good also although the Philips has a longer beam length.

Didn't go for Osram this time round due to it's relatively short life span (less than a year), which seems to be an issue with most Osram bulbs

My less than 6 months old (mileage >20k) cerato has been giving me mixed signals since the past few days. Strangely my driver side mirror refused to flip open after I start my car. I have to turn off the ignition and restart a couple of times before I could get it to work again. I tried the controls on the door panel and that didn't work. The passenger side mirror was working fine though. This happened twice on the same day.  hmm.gif
*
me too having this symptom once a while [2-3 times in 1 year of ownership]. the driver side mirror only will not flip open once i press the door unlock button.

but after start the engine, press the side mirror switch manually and the side mirror will flip open as usual for both sides.

Guys, can you roughly tell me, especially those who are i driving the 1.6 and mainly in town drive, how much does a full tank bring you.. i'm kinda caught in between the KX and the full spec city to be honest.. both have their pros and cons...but i think if i were to say looks and comfort, the KX is a better car but safety wise, minimum would be the K3...so I'm looking at the final verdict which is on how thirsty the 1.6 lump is.. coz i know the 2.0 drinks (speaking from the experience of a forte owner).. anyone care to shed some light?

i did read through the pages and if i'm not wrong, some of you guys are clocking around 350-370km per full tank? My drive would be mainly in penang island and sometimes a mix of long distance driving.
*
bro, you can check my FC from my fuelly signage for more detailed info on how my 1.6 drinks icon_rolleyes.gif

oh my drive mainly around pontian and JB plus once a month driving back and forth to my ipoh hometown.

hope this helps.
