quite number of potential 2.0 owners already paid their booking fee in end of Aug and yet to see their 2.0 including me..    i think by Q1 2014 is the best bet...some potential owners already waiting for more than 3 months.... some so frustrated and went for other brands...

I didnt install it because they cannot guarantee me that the side airbags will deploy. so I didn't get it. The side airbags is in the seats.

Dear SA. I am one of the owner for Cerato 1.6
When I purchased my car the SA informed me that my car is CBU. However when I get the grant, it is written CKB. I understand that there are 500 unit CBU cerato from Korea. May I know how to check whether my car is CKD or CBU? I got my car on 6 Sept 2013.

ANCAP today released safety ratings for two popular models, each from global manufacturers. A 5 star ANCAP safety rating was awarded to the new Kia Cerato, while the recently released Honda Accord achieved only a 4 star ANCAP safety rating.

The 5 star ANCAP safety rating awarded to the Kia Cerato applies to all variants - sedans and hatches. The Cerato passenger compartment held its shape well in the frontal offset test with pedal and steering wheel displacements well controlled. Driver and passenger contact with the airbags was stable and all doors remained closed during the crash. Good protection was provided for the driver in both side impact and whiplash tests.

While performing well in the side impact and pedestrian tests, the Honda Accord fell short in the foundation frontal offset crash test. This meant the Accord did not achieve enough points to be eligible for a 5 star ANCAP safety rating. The Accord's main shortfall was an elevated risk of injury to the lower legs of the driver.

"The Accord result is disappointing," said Mr McIntosh.

But the specs in the test car and here might be different.

Called KIA HQ to ask about my car delivery status just now. They said currently there's no stock for Cerato 2.0. And the delivery lead time normally takes 3-4 months.

finally got my car today!!! thanks to KS Loh for superb service and assistance.... very highly recommended...
