I applied for three BT successfully. 

I had some hiccup with the 3rd one though, not able to proceed even though I am applying below the available limit.

I reduced the amount further and the BT is approved.

No, it is not. I applied twice this week and money transferred to the bank on the same day.

I only use 0% BT or Cash Xcess.
And yes, payment for these still counted as filler for the spend requirement.

BT monthly is excluded.
of course you need to make retail spend above RM2.5k per month to get the cb.
unlike Affin bank which use min statement balance per month as criteria,
RHB t&c is Total Monthly Retail Spend (RM).
