RHB did waive my RM500 Annual Fee when I called in. No swipe/spend conditions required

few mths after the anniversary, i called to cancel the card and the retention team say my card will be auto waived for the next 2 or 3 years, without any condition.
forgot the exact number of years, as I plan to cancel it later this year due to no more 0% BT

Why no just keep the card since no fee. May be there is promotion 0% BT in next few month?

By the way, there is 1 months BT for 1.2% until sep 2015.

The agent told me I can get 20% for below:

Are all the list correct?

Can I get a full list for all selected merchant?

I never use my rhb travel money for petrol was really surprise this month suddenly got a cash back transaction and i have no idea where did that cash back come from

It pops up this message and there is no reduction after I put in the promo code, what does it mean?


That means I must buy an item which is on sale? First time seeing promo that forces people to use on sales item.

Someone reported before on this thread, not necessarily must use RHB card.
I plan to use my CIMB Cash Rebate Plat though.

Luckily just checked the expiry date for this voucher is 31st July, so I still have time. Earlier thought 15th July.

I think you may refer to the TNC attached with the voucher.
As far as i know those vouchers have some TNC like non-marketplace item, non-discount item and brand exclusion.
Usually i will just pick some random item that matched the criteria to test on the voucher 1st.

The last time I used the DIGI rm50 evoucher it was the other way round, I couldn't use it to purchase discounted item but RRP item. Anyway I learned my lesson and told myself never to buy clothing or bags online (unless I know the product) cos what u see n u like online always disappoint.
