We need some feedback over the RE Audio brand. Have anyone heard of it before?

It is quite popular in the US but not quite available here in Malaysia.

Anyone auditioned it before care to share their experience?

Had one RE lying somewhere in the closet... does need a huge box to make them work best which is not really a good thing judging by the fuel price now...

RE audio is early known for its XXX serie subs, which used Dan wiggins/adire audio XBL² motor technology, like adire audio brahma,,,,(i could be wrong)
linear BL motor, low distortion, high xmax number,,,try search for XBL² whitepapers, its a good reading----

havent listen to their xxx subs, but listened to adire audio brahma, i remember it has clean loud bass

you plan to bring them in, aeonic? particularly interested in their XXX components,,,,,

Had taken a look at their technology but I hadn't had any chance to feel how they are.

They had offered us to bring them in and distribute it for them so we need some feedback about it. As their prices aren't cheap especially the XXX subs. Not sure if they are strong in the sense of VS other brands available here. If all goes well then we'll have this in Malaysia.

i think its the old XXX or SX series... looks different from the pictures in the web now...

hand carried them in... never tried to find them locally...

Afaik.... Kaki mainly uses them for spl

Yep.. Thats what I thought so too. But the brand owner says that they won best award under Sq category with their XXX series. Probably we'll have them brought in and audition them. Apparently they can take on JL, Kicker and RF all day long anytime.
