thanks for the advice on changing the abs+spring, it was done yesterday and though it solved my floating issue.. the back is probably too hard with the lowered springs, i can hardly press it down |

after 1 day of driving around with Sachs abs + proride sports spring, it seems that the suspensions like to make mickey mouse noise (squeak) whenever going over humps.. is this normal or the setup above is not suitable ???

QUOTE(iskazulka @ Jun 23 2013, 09:38 AM) after 26th. can change lor. eh.. i just changed but was not installed in a proper manner coz i wasnt at the workshop when it is done ..because of the haze, prepare to frequently wash car and clean cabin air filter. btw, this thread can add SV name liao. in PROTON SAGA BLM, FL, FLX & SV CLUB V46 oh well, gotta get it done at a more reputable workshop.. yes, clean air cabin filter.. and for those on stock pollen filter only, its best to get paper filter for your own health reasons due to the worsening haze. |

just an update to the issue i was facing since last TT...
apparently one of the SACHS rear absorber DOA-ed on me, after being compressed and allowing it to expand, it actually vibrates during the expansion.. so it was replaced along with its other half the springs were all reseated and shealthed with rubber wrap (hose), that solved the squeaking sound for the front, but not at the rear due to the dead abs... thanks to the guys at RSOne, issue fixed and now on another pair of rear abs from GAB.. school fee paid |

QUOTE(Mahihi @ Jun 24 2013, 07:24 PM) did ask, but the 1st time i have them installed i wasnt at the workshopso today they rubber hose-d both front and rear springs. after which still got squeaking sound and its due to the dead abs. since already at workshop, get it fixed 1st, claim the warranty separately, and at most i'll have a spare set of rear abs later... |
