In case you guys interested in Sebastien Loeb's Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak, the event is live now. You can watch it live here: Pikes Peak International Hill Climbs. If you only see this in the morning, maybe you can search YouTube for his run. Seb's 208 really looks sexy!

I'm sure the factory workers drive your car around for 1000 km before rolling it off the factory floor  yawn.gif

Omg, ur really that dumb.. Man , u think they drive it arnd the factory 1000km? They put it on one of those platforms and let it run by itself lah .. U Really dont know nuts about cars!

all new cars need a certain period of run-in before expereincing slightly improved fuel economy, and willingness to rev .

this period could be estimated to be 20-30 thousand km

i plan to get pug 208 too, but worry about FC and maintenance cost.

i heard from salemen, 3doors have cash rebate but the car come without the 4pcs reverse parking sensor. she told me owner can get it from outside and will not void the warranty by pug.

any more feedback from 208 owner?

don't believe the SA. if you want to know about the warranty correctly, ask the service centre. usually, the sales people will tell you all sorts of things just to sell the car.

i think it might be a bit too early to judge the 208's fc because it takes time for engines to run in and finally settle in the real fc. My 208 is 1500km+ now and a full tank can only achieve close to 400km. I think it will get better in time though as some owners have achieved far better FC than this.

anyway yes, Fiesta is a good car too, it's all down to yourself.

Just gotta tell you one thing though, I am enjoying every seconds driving the 208. =)

That's a bit thirsty, only around 10kms/ltr isn't it? More thirsty than some 2.5ltr D-Segment cars.
The spec sheet claims 15kms/ltr! laugh.gif But yeah, better continue to monitor/measure until about 5000km mileage to get the more realistic figures.

yeah...i HEARD about that too. Heard that from my colleague's neighbour's friend's uncle's parent's friend's colleague.

And i heard that you can get instant hot tea/coffee straight from the radiator on Pijot cars.

And i heard that if you have all these worries, just get a Toyota. Proven reliable. And cheap to maintain. Maybe no need to maintain also, so reliable that you do not need to service it. I heard, i heard.

There's not much different on fiesta and 208 at the FC section biggrin.gif

i'm driving a Fiesta sport & selling peugeot (i'm not here to promote smile.gif , so far I feel 208 is cooler than fiesta lol, anyway is a conti bro biggrin.gif

FC so far so good, pump in rm50 on test drive car, now almost empty it can reached about 300. Well, u think is kinda low but think about this, is a test drive car, customer always wanted to test its limit...so i think it can go better if normal driving style.
