Hello everyone, i am currently driving 208 for around 2 and half months
red colour, 2 doors.
going for my first inspection later @ 2.6k

first thing i don't really happy is the size of glove compartment, (even proton saga also have bigger one)

second, the engine sometimes quite loud (when i start to drive after i parked my car for a long night)

i think there's all. others are still okay with me biggrin.gif
am happy and proud to own 208.

fuel consumption : average pump 40 - 45 litre, only travel 270+- KM,
drive almost everyday from my house to uni about 10+- KM
sometimes go out yum cha with friends, etc.

i am happy :
first, the roof side light (blue colour), damn yeng ! haha
second, the back light and head light !
lastly, is the touch screen SCREEN biggrin.gif

oh ! one last thing, mine got no reserve sensor, and the sales person deducted 2k for me =)

Hi fellow owner!

thanks for your posts =)

agreed, the size of the glove box is indeed cacat due to their laziness, and it is also true that the engine noise is quite loud when the car is still not warm up yet. I normally wait for the car to warm up a bit before getting off, maybe around 2 minutes or so. Though I've seen some article somewhere that said to not leave your car idle to warm up, just drive slowly is what suggested.

Mine is black 5 door, and with reverse sensor. I bet you couldn't wait any longer that's why opted for the one without reverse sensor? =P

anyway please enjoy the exclusiveness now while it lasts, there will be more 208s on the road very soon!

Cheers,
Wil

Yes, drive immediately, but don't rev high. Say shift at 2000, 2500. Then your engine will be fine.

Small glove box may mean the airbag is taking away all the space...

Nope, the small glovebox is because when they made the right hand drive version they didn't move the fusebox to the other side and left it on the left side.

If this kind of thing happen with a Proton.......

Oh. Haha. Well, I guess the right hand drive market isn't big enough. biggrin.gif Having to rewire everything... I remember my Renault 19 had a modern interior cause left hand drive facelifted version. The right hand drive model was stuck in the 80s.
