Hey,

I'm looking to downsize my car's wheels from 17 to 15 and was thinking of 205/55/15 tires which are what E30 owners usually look for (i think). However, this size seems hard to come by. Does anyone knows where to get them?

Else, which brand has a more sporty 195/60/15 tire? Most important is grip and braking capability... cornering flex etc is not as important as comfort thus wanting to go for a higher sidewall from 205/45/17.

Thanks.

What is your current tyre size?

205/55/15 is a odd tyre size. The more popular tyre size is 205/55/16

For 195/60/15, this is considered to be a Touring Tyre size, more emphasis on Comfort, Durability and less on Performance. However, if your criteria is Grip / Performance you can take the Yokohama C Drive 2 or Conti Premium Contact 2.

stock is 195/60/15 205/50/16 or 205/45/17...

prefer 15" over 16" but like u guys say 205/55/15 is tough to find, and expensive.

Ok will look into Toyo and see... thanks for the heads up. If all else fails will look at the yoko or conti for 195/60... thx

iinm was 220-230? last 1+ year price though.
i like it very much when it comes to comfort/NVH, and traction is good enough for higher speed driving

just don't try to take corners at very high speed due to the soft sidewall and the grip isn't anywhere near typical UHP tires.
