harlo everyone! wub.gif

As you girls can see, I am not very active in lowyat.
Most of the time, i surf lowyat and read threads only.
There is one thing i would like to seek advices from you girls, i would be glad if you girls can gimme some relevant information.

Ok, I got alot of pimples on my both cheeks since i was studying secondary school.
And my skin is kinda sensitive, oily, and easy to have breakout.
And, that time i was a kid, so i dont have sufficient knowledge on how to take good care of my face.
Therefore, now i got some pit scars on my face which has low down my confidence.
For your info, my face no more pimples already, just some ugly scars on my face.

I had 3 times microneeedling treatment at beauty saloon before, and i can see there is some improvement on my face.
as i can see my scar is fading (not very obvious lar), but at least got improvement.
but problem is, the treatment is very expensive! as if im going to have long term treatment, it would be killing me.

I had browse tru online, and i get to know there is a home-used microneedling roller sell in the market.
the reviews and feedback are good, and the price is in the acceptable range.
i was wondering if i should give it a try.

Just wondering if anyone here use this type or home-used needling before? mind to share the pros & cons?
how is the result? laugh.gif

Thanks wub.gif

Pros;

Cheap,
DIY
Minimally effective

Cons;
Need to change roller after few sessions
Infection rate is quite high
Minimally effective

Better to consult a clinic and get it done the right way.

Cheers

Thanks for your advice.

It will cause infection? as my experience in salon, i had few treatments before, none of the treatments cause infection wor ohmy.gif
just some redness and i feel my skin was burning after the treatment, but after 1 hour like that, then the feeling has gone wink.gif
and the next day after treatment, i still managed to apply make up as usual tongue.gif
Just want to seek advice if anyone has experience in conducting this treatment at home, and whats the problem they have confronted when doing treatment
if i manage to overcome those problem, then i will definitely give this home-used microneedling roller a try wub.gif
want to have a flawless face badly cry.gif

It's the risk of infection. I'm not saying it will happen but the risk is higher.

Do drop by my clinic if u have time and I will let u know the other methods available for acne scars.

Cheers

I've done that before for about 6 treatments if my memory serves me well. not much difference. honestly, if you intend to get rid of your scars once and for all, go for laser.

Hi, for me, laser is quite expensive as i am a fresh grad sad.gif so, was thinking to have 1 year microneedling treatment at home first, see if there is any improvement.
I did some treatments at beauty saloon before, the result is good, so, was thinking to have a try on home-used microneedling treatment.
I am going to order one set of the microneedling kit from one of the seller here.
The price is acceptable, hope it wont disappoint me. laugh.gif
will update my microneedling kit to this thread when i receive the parcel, cant wait!!! rclxms.gif

Yep you're right. Money is always an issue. But if you do check out those groupon sites, they do offer great deals on CO2 fractional lasers at aesthetic centres. I myself purchased one which cost me RM120 only. Hopefully I'm gonna have a better skin after I'm done with it!

Hope your microneedling works for you smile.gif It didn't worked out for me; thus I'm seeking other alternative for now
