Something like...(window 7)
1>Hit Crtl+Alt+Delete, Select "Start Task Manager"
2>Select the "Performance" Tab and hit the "Resource Monitor..." button
3>In the Resource Monitor window, select "Network" tab.
4>In the "TCP Connections", look for ffxiv.exe (Dunno name) while you're running the game.
5>Go back to the game and play for a bit (At least 1 minute)
6>Minimize and check your latency

To ping experts:
The ping stated in the Resource Monitor mean what? One direction (packet from pc to server) or two direction (pc to server to pc)?

i am not a legacy player
my old character is but due to unforeseen circumstances i have to restart

my old character is US and now that i am living in Melbourne Australia, I should play under EU (easier access to expansion sets and stuffs )
my old character is low lvl so i don't mind relvling at all but has a decent amount of crystals (cant be compared to shojikun) to lvl crafts. so gonna transfer to my new character

New Player just go Tonberry and start new.
Masamune full of off legacy player and hard to build up your own economy.
Starting fresh is more fun than playing with old player in Masamune.

Hmmm im torn, but i will say this, is entirely up to you to choose, if you want to come join us on Masamune, im very greatful for the support and welcome you all with open arms!

The only reason to start a new is the Economy. Truth is we 1.0 also dunno how this will effect us as our Gils has been denoted 1 zeros. But is ok, you can start in Tonberry if you wish.

And there will be "some" Malaysian guild in Tonberry.. thou i will be missing you guys
