Anyone tried in NA server whether you can avoid boss AOE effectively with almost 300ms ping?

QUOTE(Kirino2012 @ Jul 4 2013, 09:03 PM) some got problem wif the ping some got problem wif the language, well both r problems to me, dam this's hard for me to pick =( JP server will always have the best ping due to our proximity to japan. I'm not too sure if NA server will have issues dodging AOE and stuff that needs quick reaction, hope someone can answer.how's the ping for jp server & na/eu server, any can give me average ping for the server using unifi, thanks If language problem then go learn japanese. JP are not going to master english anytime soon |

Yea that's the thing i worry the most with NA server, one extra hit also can be quite fatal during boss fights. No time to test on NA server
Guess I will stick to JP server. |

I think should play new dungeons one time with eng players before going with JP. Maybe read dungeon guide first or something.
Sometimes dungeon got special tactics to take notice of. This post has been edited by Neptern: Jul 7 2013, 05:32 PM |

QUOTE(boarulez @ Jul 7 2013, 06:20 PM) I agree, but after the level 15 dungeon, most of the new dungeon im in a jp party, somehow, we get to read each other. What I mean is that, for example in copperbell mines there's a part where you need to lure the bomb to the slime thing. Sometimes japanese not so good cannot understand like me just now but still realised the tactic in time.Read a guide or play with eng players for first time dungeon to familiarise would be a better bet. |

QUOTE(shojikun @ Jul 7 2013, 06:33 PM) compare to all the disbelive, i actually talk in English on the slime part, the Japanese return saying (Understood) and we did fine~ most newer JP players understood english. Just they are shy about it I was using romanji so maybe they thought I was JP But sometimes action too fast hard to communicate. |

QUOTE(Madgeiser @ Jul 7 2013, 09:43 PM) Nope. My area has no Unifi and it does not look like it is gonna be coming anytime soon. I am pondering Maxis 4G, as there is coverage for my area, will need to test out the signal strength before committing. Tough luck I never believed in wireless internet for PC online gaming. |

QUOTE(intothefantasy @ Jul 8 2013, 11:33 AM) haha katakana is simple compared to hiragana imho..not sure why when i starting learning jp...the 1st would be katakana...some of my friends went to jap class says they started out with hiragana but i guess hiragana would be the basic of jp...i am chinese but banana type...dont even know chinese language so i die in kanji except certain easy kanji is no problem lol Katakana is actually the harder one as the sound can very quite a bit. Hiragana sound is more "fixed" and doesn't very too much. Kanji well... is always the hard one I will try to compile a list of common used terms in japanese when i have some time later |

QUOTE(intothefantasy @ Jul 8 2013, 11:45 AM) yes i am aware of that lol That's because most of the foreign words are borrowed from english.yea the translation from eng to katakana cant be tough in sounds but is easy to catch the sound back from katakana to eng but as for hiragana most of the time u can get the sound but not the meaning haha and yes kanji is hardest...wish they have furigana on each kanji lol |
