So guys , while waiting for server to open, mind to share some thoughts about the class u played in beta. On solo and party .

I played a gladiator , good survivability but damage kinda low. In party play , basically u need to aggro and have all mobs hate you, need to always keep an eye on the mobs so that it won't hit the healer. So if you like tanking , this is the class for u. This is my thoughts on this class so far, correct me if I'm wrong .

I played THM. This class is not easy to play because it's armor is like tissue paper & casting spells takes time. if you think you can throw spells like PGL throw punches, then you will be disappointed because there is a time delay casting spells.

Because of this the THM is vulnerable to Archers who can take pot shots at him without breaking a sweat & other classes who can swing their swords or punch their fists faster then the THM can cast spells.

Example: you cast fireball but the spell will only execute after 3 seconds. During that 3 seconds, your opponent will be charging at your face with a giant sword & lob your head off before you can cast your spell.

THM also has AOE spells but you can't direct the AOE to the field but instead it is centered on you. My THM literally have to fight with the tank side by side to cast AOE spell on mobs in the dungeon. This is really stupid & I hope the developers will fix this before the game launches.

played as lancer 1st but feels like slow combat because of the gcd...switched to THM as a caster i would think the gcd wont affect me much but i think they should make THM more better caster

like nwk said the aoe really needs to be fix because is player centric instead of casting on target where by this skill is useless in a sense where THM will eat dmg while casting this. As a caster is better to avoid as many dmg as possible and the aoe skill is like telling you to get some dmg by standing near the tank and near the enemy in frontal line.

also i do hope that they fix thunder spell where by it should not be a dot but instead a normal spell or if is a dot at least remove the casting time. So far THM with 3sec casting really tax our hp where standing still casting in 3sec really cost us a lot of dmg but i do believe that we will have some cast time reduction elements in our gear or smth.

also from the forums i do see that some suggestion in changing surecast spell where next spell would not be interupted but it will be nice if the interuption do means movement as well.

Sleep spell in early game is awesome imho. This is the only spell i love and of course using it often will receive a diminishing return but at least we have some choice to do in multiple mobs if we accidentally aggro them.

for THM aoe spells, iinm the fire II is target centric, unlike Blizzard II

good to know this since i did not lvl till there yet...should be around lvl 18 to get fire 2 if not mistaken

nope...should be another stage where server will be up for few days straight...there is 4 stage in p3 if not mistaken and this week is only 3rd stage
