Who has played the first Test Drive on the PC? hehe.. i remember having to drive thru mountain roads, dodging traffic and stuff.. and at the end if you manage to bring the car back in one piece, you get to keep the car. i remember only 2 cars though, Ferrari Testarossa and the Lotus Esprit.

the stewpid demo hangs at a certain point in the map

just found out the problem only happens when you play online... if you play offline it doesnt hang

so how is the gameplay? compare to pgr3?

Actually, what are the objectives of that demo? When it boots up, it complains it can't contact the TDU servers. The u pick a car and drive around the island? Is there anything else we can do? No doubt, its pretty fun driving around, i ended up trying to destroy as many police cars as possible..
Graphically, i have to say i was appaled when i saw the lamborgini driving out of the garage. There's absolutely no anti-aliasing at all.. The jaggies were so freaking ugly. Download the demo and see if u agree with me.

As the synopsis says its still subject to changes but so far it is good. Its a MMO you can form your own club, have your races, buy a house. Its different from PGR3, its being a datuk and having that fancy car picking up young chicks and being gatal

The jaggies probably due to it's pc/xb360 game.

I also having problem connecting to the server..if you play offline, you can drive around and when you see those car with name on top..drive near 'em and press A to challenge him.
This game works like a street racer, with abit of sim element in it. Also...it's said to be the a mmo-racing game? For a mmo, this graphic is still 'acceptable'

well if you actually connect to the server you'll be able to challenge other players.... so far out of all my attempts i only managed to connect to the darn server 2x... as for offline you'll be able to challenge the ai drivers.... when you do, they'll bring up the map and you can set the finish line for the race... the race then starts.... i think the controls are still very fiddly...

The control....very....outfit-like. haha, doesn't feel like a proper racing game.
