Hi guys, Will you guys actually accept any house no like 4,14,24,34,44 as ur address?

Or u guys will prefer in 3A,13A,23A,33A,43A or 2A,12A,22A,32A,42A?

Would u guys have pantang on those numbers?

Given a situation this property are selling hot cake but then they are people withdraw it because of loan couldn't approve,
This property are facing klcc and swimming pool view instead of nice housing address (such as 6,8,9) but no view as in facing mountain and small road?

i'd avoid 4 unless 10-20% cheaper

Given no choice.. Take it or leave it.. With 3A number n easily earn 30-40k when the new black launch...

So worth it... ?

I prefer n do not mind No. 4, 44 or 40.

But I dont like No. 14 and will avoid it. No. 24 or 34 no issue but not priority unless cheaper or better facing.

Cos I m not sure yet whether for own stay or investment.. Temporarily 50 50, I m actually kinda particular in number, other than tht I m not superstitious wit other things,

But I got a unit which I think is kinda good call, selling it at better price compare to a new block which is launching, easily earn 30 to 40k as new wan will be selling more expensive moreover the unit now have better view and better access way to facilities of the building..

Just tht address is 3A.. U guys think ok...

I bought 4 and 13 before. all without special discount but all made me good money. Put in some efforts.

My unit with no 4 has a good view. (high floor). the first time the couple came in, I can see the wow in their face. they gave me cheque after that.

My unit with no 13 was sold to gwailo some more. LOL. After signed S&P, I asked him if he really dont mind about no 13? My wife pinched my leg under the table saying to me after that I should ask only after S&P is stamped. LOL. The gwailo said "Not a problem".

no pantang with unit no. lah.
i think more importantly people is more concern on the neighbour or the neighbourhood or your unit's condition.
house number could be the least of their worries unless they use it to demand extra discount.
if property good, don't give a fark. else discount lor. kekeke.

thanks to all sifu here,

actually i dun have any concern except for the number....since u all say like tht, i guess should be alright gua..

the property i m looking floor located on higher floor, facing klcc view and swimming pool, below is gym...

if i let go this, waiting for other block will be facing klcc as well, but no swimming pool view, facing road, then below is function room not always got light open...more expensive 30 /40 per sq foot...

but can choose unit ......but also not much cos for the size i m looking for is either 3, or 3A...all NO 3 got sapu...

to me, where the property is facing, the condition of the house and the price matters most. not so much of the number unless everything is equal but the other house has a better number, than i will for the number.

I won't take if facing west (because of hot afternoon sun), but it is personal preference...
There is no best option. Every decision has its good and bad.
To make a good choice, you need to list out the factors in your priority list.

Definitely 3A is better.

Just like choosing car plate number, I won't take any number with 4 inside it.
But for house, I don't mind for own stay!

Agree. 3A sounds so much better than 4 to me.

Previously, I rented a high-end apartment in Australia for business purpose. Nobody seems to be interested in level 13. I got it in good deal.

I would say, when looking for a place to stay, still location, facing, sorrounding is a major governing factor. But of course, for two identical unit with nearly similar price, I will definately not going for no. like 4, 14. However, if for property is very high end like 5 million Bungalow, should stay out of these numbers. Some of my friends who have their own business where money is not a major concern, they wont go for these numbers. They even paid to choose good car number plates.

noob question here. why klcc view is very important? is there any good aura from the building or just for sake of klcc view? in my area, people even mentioned they can see klcc from their house (it's about 25km from klcc and the size is very2 small) when promoting their property..

Of course view is important bro, as klcc is some sort like landmark of the entire country.. Or maybe the trademark or something representing the country..

Everywhere is the same... Taiwan facing 101 is expensive, shanghai facing Oriental pearl tower is expensive, ... Night view is nice moreover my current project are only within 10 radius...

Number you should ignore it. 3A is ok for own stay and investment. My unit is 3A in Puchong new project dunno got how many calls already wanted to buy my unit. But i prefer to keep it for my son and now renting out to a pretty girl.

However, 3A facing KLCC also means facing highway. Are you ok with the noise or not?

The best way to handle these pantang larang is :-

1. Don't even give it a damn if it is for your own stay.

2. Do take this into consideration if it is for investment, because like it or not, it will impact the resell value a bit if you are selling to Chinese.

I bought a condo 3 years ago and going to be VPed soon. I got it directly from the developer at 10% extra discount as no one picked it up. Nice view, facing swimming pool. My unit no is A14-14 and Developer will not change the number to 13A. Since the price is less than RM250k, I decided to take a bet. I think if it is a high class expensive property, we need to be concerned about number but cheap property, I think less concern lah. Beggars have no choice lah. I think for me to sell with a 20-30% profit (since my price is already10% cheaper), should not be an issue especially there are a lot of enquiries now from non Chinese who are not particular about numbers.

I m not superticious person, so no ghost god story, but numbers pantang a bit le so my car plate and phone number sounds good and got those Chinese like meaning... Haha...

Anywhere anyhow, I been consider no point having a house wih nice number but no view..

So number, if less say resale, they are also Chinese who dun mind numbers like u guys, n there are still a lot of non Chinese buyer..

Cos I need is just buyer if I want to sell in future.::

Is it a right way to convince myself as I already make a right choice? Cos my block only got 2 unit each floor with my preferred size (1000sq feet) other units are different size on the same floor.

So ie either 3 or 3A? So 3 is got sapu earlier on, so my situation is like take it or leave it?

Although people here are saying that number 4 is ok, you are depriving yourself of a certain market segment that do care (especially people who own business). Even if its for own stay, one day you (or your heirs) will want to sell it - right? But I do agree, that some factors may counter the negativity of 4, price of the house a real bargain, etc.

I am bumi but i do take into consideration of feng shui and bad numbers as my future buyer may be a chinese fella. I would avoid anything that regards to 4 and 13. 4x and x4 also cannot. If i have choice x+x = 4 also i wont buy.

Its like this. Chinese are rich people of Malaysia who invest in properties. Most of them also believe in fengshui.

So u want to know ur target market when selling ur property:

Rich, chinese, fengshui believers. So you avoid all units having number 4, except 54.

13 also no good.

For own stay pick your favourite numbers lah. For me 10, or 23, or 24 or 17 or 77

Ok.. Thanks for loads the info.. More over there lots of coming project I think I should survey instead of only thinking my frd property... Bout my frd i just let him be first le...

Since i so pantang, better to look for others without 4 le..I m now also considering a sub sale landed property in cheras area or bayu Pandan? Or bayu sentul seems not bad.. Cos I m buying it mostly for investment..

Landed capital appreciation n condo return..?

Yup. Even though i take into consideration of number because i may sell to somebody who really cares, but i also hope one day people just dont care about numbers. I used to have an audi a4, i stay in apartment 14E outside of malaysia, my company car number plat is 1424. I am still doing ok. Didnt think of jumping from 14th floor. My favourite number was actually 4 when teacher asked me in my primary school.
