GTX780 whats the cheapest one u have?

There is only one version of GTX 780 for now. AMP! edition not here yet

Will there be a GTX 770 4Gb AMP edition?

No news about a 4GB AMP! If this was released it may cannibalize the 780 sales.

Don't really see why since the 2GB AMP version is already keeping up with the GTX780. Oh well, guess I'll keep surveying. Thanks.

Do you have some cheaper models like GTX 650 Ti?

Not at the moment, we are going to focus on pushing 7 series. You may need to wait for the new entry level 7 series to become available

If it is better than gtx680 , why is it sold at a cheaper price?


And the thing is even cheaper than gtx670 >.<

You can choose to pay more for less. Lots of vendors are willing to charge for more.

I dont mean to insult or what , I just dont get this...

How's the warranty ? Is it the same with the vendors providing?

Hi, I'm also interested to find out how is the warranty after the 2 years?
2 + 3 years seems very attractive.

But, what do you mean by we need to deal with Zotac directly?
Where is Zotac? If Zotac is in USA, does it mean we have to send to USA for warranty ourselves after 2 years?

Well, if the 2 way postage to USA is RM400... with the risk of being tax as the item is send back, this might not work out very good in the long run...

No offense intended, just trying to understand the "extended" part of the warranty.

These are the brands in Malaysia and their warranty period

Palit -2 years
Galaxy - 2 years
Gainward - 2 years
Sapphire - 2 years
Gigabyte - 3 years
Asus - 3 years
Msi - 3 years
Leadtek - 3 years
Zotac - 2 years (like the first 4) + 3 years extended from zotac

Dealers in lowyat plaza only help end users claim warranty for the first year. 2nd - 3rd year would incur a service fee. End users can claim directly with distributor without charges.

We recommend you claim directly from us to save yourself some hassles.

Zotac is in HK. You can consider that the card only has 2 years warranty like the rest if you do not want the extended warranty. There is no tax for gpu. Zotac will repair or replace the card free of charge during the extra 3 years. If the card cannot be repaired, zotac will replace it with a current model.

For example..if you had a gtx 660ti amp! And it died on the 3rd year. You can contact zotac using the warranty manager and send the card back to them. If they cannot fix it they will replace it with a gtx 760. NO other brands offer this sort of support.

Assuming you bought some other brand with 3 years warranty and it died on the 4th year. You have to pay admin fee and shipping fee for local distributor to send the card back to manufacturer. Then manufacturer will charge you a repair fee for the card. If you decide to send the card back yourself you will save the admin fee but you still have to pay for the shipping fee AND repair fee.

For Zotac you only pay the shipping fee.

Now give me some time... I need to consider whether GTX780 is worth the price of RM2199 or gtx770 is sufficient

after reading the warranty post by Cyntrix, I can't wait to get my hands on ZOTAC's GTX 770 AMP!

We will stand by all the brands we distribute and we have better information and stock level control over the products. For example, if a particular model's PCB changed to non reference from reference, we will always be the first to know.

What is the all-in shipment fees to Zotac to claim warranty after 2 yrs local warranty ?

well if its just pure shipment i have checked citylink..its about RM 150 from Malaysia to Macau (Zotac's HQ).. not sure bout other delivery companies..so u roughly know its about that price
