Picked the 3rd screen mode.

both answers are wrong... there's no problem in the tv settings...
infact, the problem is actually you have the wii component cable which have 5 inputs (3 video, 2 audio) but your tv only have standard 1/2 video/audio input/output & scart. so, you have to go buy a new wii rca cable (that have only 3 cables instead of 5)

Simple my friend. It's all because your Wii is using component cables when you have a TV that only support composite cables.

Solution:
a) Get a spanking new TV

or

b) Buy yourself composite cables!

The good thing is, Lowyat's Sri Computers sells the cables. You can ask for them. It's not badly priced too. smile.gif

Thanks for the suggestions Wii sinus.
Now I have to settle how to reset the console display settings.
If not, after i bought the cable and hook it up
,maybe it cannot display as wrong output settings.

I think I have chosen 480i hd setting, digital right?
Haishhh, things got worse.

Indeed odd.
People screw up settings in their devices sometimes.
Should have steps to reset back. Back to factory settings.
Maybe me hard reset improperly, dont know.

Now the console become a brick.

I see you're using component (Red-Green-Blue-Red-White) cables. Those are not meant for your TV. You need to get Composite (Yellow-Red-White) cables. If not, get a new TV that supports component.

Also, I'm puzzled at how a PAL console is outputting in NTSC O.o
