hi,

just to share, here's my phone's best batt performance so far:

- Alliance Rom v3.1, stock kernel with baseband XXDLK7
- wifi / 3g on all the time (mostly wifi)
- bluetooth, gps and sync activated only when necessary
- Auto brightness (on), haptic feedback (on)
- Mostly on web surfing, news reading, whatsapp , media social apps (fb, twitter and ig). emailing was kept to minimum as it was the weekend.
- not much talk time as i can recall, with less than 15 minutes through out the period
- little gaming, approx 30 mins of Scramble with Friends
- auto refresh / update rate for various apps are set between 2 hours and above (eg weather widget, friendcaster pro and etc). All push notification function are kept at minimum (as i constantly check my phone, i dont really need this)
- i kept my home screen simple (the way i like it), with only clock, weather, toggle, poweramp, google search bar and agenda widgets

Hey for travellers to China, how do you guys access to FB from there?
Any VPN service to recommend? I don't think I can survive not to access to FB for few days. I depend on it for my source of information. laugh.gif
If possible something that I can login straight from Note II.

Tenkiu. Just got an update today, will be travelling to Beijing in August with my boss for a training. biggrin.gif
