wow, falcon pro is pretty darn good. Love the fact it loads links in app, super useful for instagram ever since the breakup between instagram and twitter. Also might also be batt saving since I wont have to launch the browser everytime i wanna know more about the tweet

QUOTE(fylon @ Jun 19 2013, 11:54 AM) Heh.. Another person seconded mydragoon statement, it seems that I'm worry too much here. If you don't have any data connection during that two hours, then its bad. Nowadays my batt drain is about 2 percent for 8 hours. Sometimes four percent for i dunno what reason. If I turn on data or wifi, it's as though there's a leak in my batt TQ for your input too, pal! This post has been edited by arslow: Jun 19 2013, 12:13 PM |

QUOTE(joytest @ Jun 19 2013, 05:40 PM) No mention of storage size, and it seems no sdcard, and fixed battery. 16gb built in with microsd slot, and 3200mah batt, at least that kind of batt size is good enough that a removable batt is not needed(at least for me la) at least we can see HTC really listening what the majority of customers want I can live with fixed battery but need the sdcard. Not forgetting all the S-on S-off and locked bootloader nonsense. Same goes for Sony. and us XDA fanatics are definitely not the majority I'm pretty sure now the One Max won't come with a tiny 3000mah batt as rumored, so its up for consideration again. Will need to really go thru the functions I use a lot on the note 2 and compare it with what sense 5 offers, to make sure ill actually be upgrading and not downgrading in terms of features. SNOte is giving me headache now zzz. Might transfer to evernote and see how it goes since theres an import to evernote function. I'm really hoping all of these new devices are pressuring samsung to try and do something about the outlook and feel of the phone, though its not super important for me, but it would be really awesome to have a note 3 with stereo speakers for netflix, prime and hulu. |

QUOTE(joytest @ Jun 19 2013, 05:54 PM) Ever since I found out that S-note was platform locked, I stopped using it. another thing, ultrapixel...I really need high megapixel count as I use the note 2 camera a lot ot take document pics, and I dont think the ultrapixel is gonna be good at that =/Using HandyNote, I found that the Evernote export is just a static image The dropbox integration is better in that it stores the native HNF file so is far more portable this way. Well, I seriously find the HTC One Sense has some lacking stuff if you're coming from TW. I was completely surprised to read that they have no multiple toggle equivalent and some very basic functionality of settings access is missing from the H1 ROM. WTF. And they have to wait for 4.2.2 to get that???? And their 4.2.2 update just got canned today it seems. So...... Yeah, HTC doesn't seem to be too fond of toggles lol, love how samsung is giving us even more toggles with the 4.2 update(though I would love a flashlight one too) Once, the official 4.2.2 drops for the One, hope there will be someone who does a thorough video about it. Oh yeah, the weird capacitive buttons too |

yay, since S800 will have DTS support in hardware, I won't need a custom codec build anymore!! Bring it on Note 3!
I thought I have stopped bothering with specs after the awesome exynos Dual on the s2, but this S800 chip is just crazy not because of the crazy benchmark scores, but the features it has(quick charge 2.0 is gonna be mind blowing) |

QUOTE(joytest @ Jun 21 2013, 07:53 PM) I'm sure of that. But let's see what the competition will bring. And with Samsung's share prices tanking rapidly, I think they will try something different. That is very true, I just hope they are feeling a little pressured now and try to do something to stay on top. But rushing the note 3 release is definitely not one of them. The note 2 is such a flawless product with only very few issues which only happens to a very small subset of users. Seriously don't want to see all those issues affecting the S4 to be on the Note 3.Well, as with anything in this world, what goes up must come down, and you can't be No 1 forever. |

QUOTE(joytest @ Jun 21 2013, 08:12 PM) I wonder, if in 2 months' time, they can retool their production lines to cater for a slightly different design. May not be metal, but probably the heftier polycarbonate used by Nokia the only nice thing of that latest leaked pic is the ultra thin bezel. I love the s4 design, really. it might be a refinement to s3 one, but they really made it look much better imo. Hated the s3 design so much. The note 2 design is tolerable simply because it isn't so egg shaped. But a new material wouldn't hurt, albeit pretty impossible for the note 3. Even stereo front speakers is most probably not gonna make it =/Agree that Note 2 is almost flawless. We will see both of these on the s5/note 4 almost for sure. Guess rather than changing to wanam 3.8, Im just gonna clean up my internal SD, format everything, and reinstall the ancient wanam 3.0 i'm currently using |

QUOTE(gin&tonic @ Jun 21 2013, 09:05 PM) I have like 2.5GB internal SD space left , and my internal SD is filled with I-have-no-idea-what lol, and also FINALLY I have time to actually fix stuff in case things go awry XD and the fact that Sammy has done something which makes you unable to flash older radios is making me a little wary too Have not done anything since February I think QUOTE(joytest @ Jun 21 2013, 09:04 PM) LOL ... I'm also thinking of wiping my phone again tonight and put in rooted stock, and this time make a REAAALLLY selective restore...my battery life went down the drain once I did a full restore from TiBU. increase thickness from 8.9 to 9.5, and the fact that the extra screen size will give extra space for batt, perfectly plausible!! Well, if they don't have time to retool, probably they can give us a 4100mAh battery challenge ascend mate abit This post has been edited by arslow: Jun 21 2013, 09:13 PM |

QUOTE(Superman7 @ Jun 30 2013, 04:02 PM) yeah, using spotify too since I got 1 year gift card, don't wanna waste But I like Play Music for its mobile app. Spotify mobile app for android is rubbish, which is expected anyway... But I dont think I will renew my spotify next year, continue with Google, but much more expensive Hope google makes a desktop software soon, web player is a little less accessible. |

QUOTE(Superman7 @ Jun 30 2013, 04:06 PM) I mean I paid for the 1 year gift card too, RM100 only that was before spotify was available in malaysia, so next year even if I wanna continue subscribing I am gonna need to get a new account, so no point, might as well continue with Play Music. But spotify has a nice new feature called Discover. Really nice to find new songs |

QUOTE(Superman7 @ Jun 30 2013, 04:17 PM) actually I kind prefer the old "what's new" feature compared to the Discover what I liked about the old one was how easy it was to get new playlist. And the fact that its easier to find stuffs which you might not have known about. The new discover one is more about songs related to what you have heard before, so yeah, it limits thing a little bit RM100/year is cheap. Now it's RM178.80 But at least now we have quite a few streaming choices legally available in Malaysia. Deezer, Spotify and Rdio. |
