I was able to use Waze and tether WiFi for 4 hours on Hotlink 3G until it went flat from a full charge.
1 internet shared with 4 other devices. Load is about 50%? But it got real hot soon. |

Anyone tried using MHL while using GPS. After a couple of minutes of usage, the GPS disconnects. I've read around and saw S3, Infuse 4G and HOX users experiencing the same thing.
Some say it's due to radiation other say due to insufficient voltage. |

QUOTE(joytest @ Jun 21 2013, 09:38 PM) NEW TOY !!!!! Cool, but how do I check if I have XPOSED installed?Expand Your Choice of Icons with Icon Themer http://www.xda-developers.com/android/expa...th-icon-themer/ Icons are some of the most commonly themed elements of the Android UI, and there is certainly no shortage of great looking icon packs available for download. The downside, however, is that some of these packs are designed to be used with specific launchers. And if you are anything like I am, quite attached to your launcher of choice and unwilling to switch, this can be frustrating. While there are ways of making use of any icons on any launcher, they can often be tedious if the compatibility isn’t there to begin with. With a little help from the Xposed Framework though, that process can be simplified considerably. XDA Senior Member ruqqq developed Icon Themer, an Xposed module that allows you to use icon packs designed for specific launchers on a variety of other popular launchers quickly and easily. The module also offers a more consistent theming experience than other methods, as the icons are applied system-wide instead of simply on your home screen. The mod supports both paid and free icon packs available via the Play Store, and it will work on both odexed and deodexed ROMs. You need to be running Android 4.0+ with root access and of course have the Xposed Framework installed. After that, you can simply download the icon pack of your choice and apply it through Icon Themer. Check out the modification thread for more information. hooh888 alexng2208 ((Xa))0102 fruitie |

That icon themer apk is corrupted.
It was made corrupted on purpose so that people are forced to buy it from Play Store. Scum! |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jun 25 2013, 12:08 AM) Mine is due to storage issue. With the crime rates on the rise I usually feel discouraged to carry a handbag out on the streets. I don't carry handbag and usually female pants are not as baggy as men's. So, difficult to slot into pocket. Either I hold it in my palm or I slot it all the way down my pockets leaving half of my Note 2 sticking out of my pocket while sacrificing my mobility (I can't crouch nor bend or else I might bend it) Sometimes we do need a smaller phone. |

QUOTE(AmmoShaf @ Jun 25 2013, 08:44 AM) I feel so weird walking with note 2 in my pocket. I wear jeans and tight slack most of the time, so whenever I want to bend and tie up my shoes, need to take out the phone first. Avoid putting anything at your passenger seats, unless you're driving a panel van without windows. This happen when I want to drive also. I like to set my phone to vibrate mode, when I drive, I put my phone at the next seat, and I would start to worry if there are any messages or calls since I can't feel the vibration. Keep looking at the phone while driving. But then maybe after some time, I'll get used to it. QUOTE(joytest @ Jun 25 2013, 09:17 AM) cradle0fFilth your battery life added to post 11 There is still crime in SG, criminals do exist on the island. I usually swap out my SIM card and place it into my S3 or iPhone 4 which is much more pocket friendly when i'm in a snatch thief infested area.Crime ? In SG ? Since you are in MY, crime IS a problem.... many reports of smashed passenger windows to grab women's handbags on the passenger seat. I would suggest you use one of those dashboard mounts where you can clip the phone on like a GPS unit. |

After spending an hour wiping data, /cache, /dalvikcache, /sdcard and flashing Wanamlite v1.3 again, installing all the bloatwares together.
This time round, without restoring anything, spent another hour restoring all my installed apps. My FB, Twitter, Instagram notifications are back. Now I dare not to Greenify nor freeze anything just to retain my Push Notifications. Despite the clean reset, some wakelocks still persist but as a whole the wakelock issue got worse. Most of them are from Google and Facebook which I don't have before I did the restore. |

QUOTE(joytest @ Jun 25 2013, 11:22 PM) Did you restore by playstore download or TiBu restore? Playstore dowload will give you the latest versions which may have new issues... No, nothing... Installed apps and restored purchases 1 by 1 via PlayStore.Only meddled with sTweaks, ringtone, widget positions and wallpaper. |
