Should not be a problem. Mine is underclocked to 1GHz for observation for now, although I'm with Perseus, I didn't tweak anything. I'm only observing that it hits 1GHz all the time for extended periods. NFS:MW only needs 900MHz to run smoothly.

If even after a kernel change you are still getting modem problems, then I suspect the bootloader got changed for some security controls.

how bout say i underclock my processor to 800mhz to run a 1ghz app,i know its gona lag,but will the system push to overclock to recomended speeds and the rom manager stops it from doing it then screw up my system? 

oh i see i tot there was gona be a clash in the system defult settings to overclock to required speed and software preventing it from going any higher 

because im a very cheepo and LOVE this fon,so im planing to underclock it most of the time to prolong the life span of the device..muahahahaha

coz under lower clock speed,processor temp lower hence prolonging the hardware life span coz heat is not a friend for any hardware..or somthing like dat..forgot where i read it d..lol

Rom flashing now getting dicey. Cannot imagine when our device gets screwed and no solution in sight. 

Agree, CM rom notorious known for battery saving. It can last long because the only colour u will see is blue and black even wallpaper also black....As for TW it bring some refreshment on the colour at your display like green, yellow , etc that why each time you see the battery status normally display will be the top of the battery food chain.

Last time S2 i used CM rom alot...play heavy games like 4 hours and i get only 85% battery life normally compare TW i would get 60%

note 2 cm10.1 is not really optimized

i'm saying it has awesome battery life as compared to the earlier version 4.50 of Sentinel ROM which has horrid life and other older ROMs which have worser.

Sentinel 4.70 w the Devil 3.0.81 kernel is really a gem (though i think the previous Devil is alright too)

it has "reasonable" battery life and great performance

Anyone know where to buy/find tools for open samsung tablet? my tab2 cannot be turn ON again, i think it hang and need to remove battery to reset it.
Previously when this problem happen i always send back to samsung service center but very troublesome. Since it happen very offen, better i just buy/get the tools to open the back case and remove battery to reset myself.

Anyone have any idea where can find the tool locally?
