new or old laptop? overheating laptops will surely shutdown automatically. put vacuum cleaner hose near the outlet vent, and switch on to suck all that dust.

I that day open a asus a series to clean up. Everything is fine from disassemble to reassemble, but in the end the screen don't lit up, scared the shyt out of me. But after a few more disassemble, I suddenly recalled that I actually twist the LCD wire a turn less, lol. Just because of a turn, the display now coming back, lol. Btw, I will say asus laptop is pretty easy to disassemble if you are ok at the prying part. This post has been edited by Human10: Jun 17 2013, 08:33 PM
