I remember a SA comment that a high rise development was unprobable for Salcon due to decaying lease terms. This seems to prove it. Would you buy a new property with a 60+ year lease term? Fingers and toes crossed for those who paid a premium for KL views.
That is why I booked a unit on Tower A facing south with unblock view last week, those unit facing PNB118 view is at high risk may not get the view they wanted in the future.
some more facing south cheaper if you don't mind the cemetery view and no balcony.
No guarantee can see the merdeka 118, if salcon decided to build a 40 level building, it will block most of the people, not to mention salcon land is sitting on the higher ground than sunway belfield.
According to KUALA LUMPUR CITY PLAN 2020 it is Hospital....
That was 2008 plan. the land was bought by Salcon in 2013
QUOTE
In 2013, as part of its diversification strategy, Salcon embarked in the property development business with its maiden project in the fast-developing and vibrant township of Selayang, Selangor. As an emerging player in the property development, Salcon unveiled its second property venture project – Belfield Crest, Kuala Lumpur.
It’s got pretty broad appeal and seems to work for both purposes. I wouldn’t rule out the Airbnb factor. It will just depend how much lower you price it against Opus.
If majority of residents is for own stays, the condo community can stop unit being used as Airbnb purpose.
Mereka 118 is pure office tower. So fly over and walkway don't see excited to the resident or tenant. But trx is a better mixed development with public transport & shopping mall.
Similar with Trion 1 in 3 years depan belakang semua kene tutup by Kl48 and Aricia. But anyway belfied is a nice location lah..very metropolitan lifestyle..i would not even mind to walk to TRX from work if i stay here good morning exercise.
cemetery view is the best, no way any building can block it!
No use panicking without further details. The land in front is a hill. The Sunway sales used to say whatever they build can't be very high. Yes I know this is Malaysia and DBKL are as crooked as they come so no use crying until we get further confirmation. Can always invoke the greenie card that tearing down more trees is bad for the environment especially these old ones. Worked in TTDI.
that small hill can be easily level out! once the merdeka 118 is fully developed similar to KLCC, that land wont be greenish anymore.
