Actually the phone didn't shut itself down. It hanged. Usually I just soft reset it when this happens & it's usually caused by Whatsapp

Yeah, Whatsapp has been horrible since last week on notifications, can get spammed on old messages all day one.

Yeah. Where is the darn update coming I wonder

actually i experienced this issue not only Whatsapp, but WeChat as well...
if i open wechat and send message, there are times when i wont receive any notifications on incoming new messages, need to open and check...

after viewing and replying message, about 30 mins to 2 hours later, then only i will received notification about new wechat messages, but when open wechat, there are no new message to be seen...

have to admit, it's frustrating at times...
dont know whats the main cause of the problem: MS server, WeChat server, the Windows Phone 8 OS or nokia lumia itself...

feel like A BOMB in my hand

9 months since they announced, and not a single major update yet.

Major updates only come once a year, no?
Android also the same. 4.1.1, 4.2.1, 4.2.2, and 4.3 are all small updates for Android Jellybean. Only KLP is the big update. As for Nokia users we have GDR 1-3 then 8.1. Seems fair enough to me.

Appearently the price of Lumia 1020 is much more expensive then Lumia 920 when it was launch at first...at $699

Now if only they announce the processor, if it's snapdragon 800 then the pricing should be fine.

Snapdragon 800 is unlikely; unless it is possible to do something like deactivating 2 cores and use only 2, and the other 2 will only be activated with GDR3 update. To me it is either Snapdragon S4 or Snapdragon 400. Both are dual cores, and combined with a 2nd image processor like what they did with the 808.

More expensive because 2Gb RAM, and the camera has 6 lenses like in the Lumia 925, and OIS built in. 808PV and 920 have only 5 lenses.

That's only RM 100 higher; 920 was RM 1999, this one will be RM 2099. So far M'sian phone prices are direct conversions of USD prices before tax, thats how i guessed accurately the retail price of all Lumias so far.

Although it's a 1020 event, i still feel that they should announce at least something for 920 users except flipboard, path and oggl.
