Since this phone don't had external storage device (SD card), all files (contact, sms, music, video, apps) will be formatted when flashing new ROM, please do necessary backup before proceeding.

gdr2 is update from microsoft,
amber is from nokia.

gdr2 is like firmware update only..

Threat it as some kind of Service Pack release by Microsoft to improve Windows Phone 8 OS.

After GDR2 roll out, microsoft will pass to phone manufacturer (Nokia, Samsung, HTC, Huawei) to release at their own discrete (May need to test hardware compatibility, or bundle with their own upgrade).

Since GDR2 had released, Nokia also prepared their phone's firmware upgrade (codename: Amber) to bundle with GDR2 and release to public.

Currently the release is not official yet, all the member here flash the ROM on their 920 is a leaked ROM file from Nokia server.

Either you flash the leaked ROM file or wait official update available, both also contain both GDR2 + Amber update.

just wanna asking.. after flashing this rom.. and then the ota comes out.. can use the ota to get the right rom.. cause im using black lumia.
