QUOTE(EXkurogane @ Jul 31 2013, 03:49 PM) How did you know 1020 RRP is RM 2199? I predict only RM 1999, since it is USD$650 unlocked in USA, and we dont have taxes for phones. If you saw European prices, those are prices after a 19% tax. I do recommend waiting for 1020, but it wont be as late as December, most likely September. You know what, EXkurogane. You could be right that Lumia 1020 RRP could be below RM2,000. Superbuy.my is offering new L925 at only RM1,489 with RRP RM1,599. I sincerely hope you are right as well that Lumia 1020 will be in Malaysia on October. Please before middle October.

Never use prices based on European countries as their sales tax is a bit crazy. Very likely RRP for L1020 will be in range of RM1999 to RM2099. That's the current hope As for availability..... that one very hard to say since Nokia M'sia is always a bit slow. They already confirmed it's coming in Q4 but I do not put much hope it's early or middle of Oct. But keep your fingers crossed.

Back in the past when M'sia had tax for phones, i remembered A Nokia N95 went for RM 2700, and AP one was RM 2250... N96 was almost 3k...

QUOTE(LalaluSan @ Aug 1 2013, 02:24 AM) i wonder how it will be like after 50year or so, when everyone keep renew they patent and there is no more proper word for new application as far as I know a patent only lasts for maximum 20 years and will become public domain thereafter. personally I'm all out against patent as it totally kills innovation and advancement of humankind! most tech companies are simply busy with legal issues instead of spending necessary time in tech advancements!

Yeah those were the days where high end Nokia phones are near RM3k. Now the only one that can even dare put such a price is Apple. I still remember the N96, a massive flop considering it's hype & price. I was using N73 then. After that I switched to N86, a smaller brother of the N96 but with much better camera

Anyway to check how much I have spent on app purchase? Exactly the same rm6.50. For first time purchase, there will be a account check that costs Rm4. Once your account is validated, it'll return the rm4 to you. Go to windowsphone.com and login. You can see your purchase history there.

Anyway to check how much I have spent on app purchase? If you buy in MY store, there's no extra tax. You'll receive an invoice in your email after a week or so. Hope that helps
