Really gila RM1799 for a gimped phone. No wireless charging and half the storage. Nokia must really not want to sell anything vmad.gif
*
That's the normal price for every countries....

925 is even cheaper than 920 in initial retail price, so I think 1799 is definitely a fair price

And Lumia 1020 is USD 650 unlocked in USA, which means in m'sia is RM 1999 again like the Lumia 920 launch price. =/ Quite reasonable actually.

It's not at all reasonable if you compare the specs of the L925 to the L1020 (RM200 difference). One is just an inferior clone to the L920 (RM1529 now for 32 GB damnit) whereas the other is a superior specimen designed with seriously awesome specs and functions (41MP Pureview Camera, 32 FREAKING GB STORAGE, 2GB Ram, updated software, light-weight...etc etc).

My point is, it isn't competitive at all to the current gen lineup (L920) and it's about to get its ass seriously whooped in a few months when the new refresh comes out. The L925 is pretty much DOA. I wouldn't have minded RM1799 for 32GB or heck, even RM1899 because then I wouldn't have to worry about running out of storage at all for the 3-4 years I'd be using it but the problem is that Other Storage bug, which even the Nokia app can't exactly fix 100%.

Do casual user even pay attention to the storage space? I ask because I don't even know what is L920's storage lolz

The thing is, L925 is just a variant of L920 with better camera performance (or so I heard) and slimmer to counter the complaints that L920 is too fat and heavy. It caters to the wants of this users who want a high end wp8 but not as heavy as L920 and got more classy design (with some aluminium thrown in), and the price is pretty good I think. I myself doubt the potential market for L925, but I think that's just only the case in Malaysia, where we only get them late while other main markets already have L925 early

agree on L925 DOA... now that L1020 is out there even more reason to wait for L1020 than L925... unless someone is despo for a new phone..

That's a given, but im not concerned about that. Nokia N8, 808 PureView also like that.

Grey background is because of superbright mode being activated automatically, where the screen brightens up more than even the highest brightness settings to help u read texts/messages/webpages when under bright sunlight. Colors become washed out as a result of that, but it helps people to read texts easily.

It is more accurate to check out your photos at normal brightness, indoors. Sometimes at low brightness u might even mistake your photos for being too dark.
And there have been occasions where photos look ok on my phone screen but when i put into computer they appear too bright/overexposed on my laptop.
